Ya, I'm not sure about the heartburn thing either. I get what you're saying about 3rd tri and the pressure/position of things. I guess we'll have to try!

I hope the rash is just viral...alergies SUCK!

Just need to complain....I'm sick. UCK!!!

I've been fighting a itchy throat at night for a week, and now it's here. Coughing, sore throat, losing my voice and general uckiness.

Not sure what I can do other than juice, tea and lozenges. I didn't see anything on the approved list from my doctor for this stuff.

That sucks that you're sick... I actually have dreams about taking "real medicine" again some day. I've been pregnant or nursing for 9 years straight now. In about 3 more years I figure I will have the last baby weaned and then I can have REAL medicine again... oh that will be a happy day!!!!!!!!!!!

AS for what you can take... if the cough is bad, regular Robitussin, and that's about it. I have found I have to take about double the dose though or it won't work!! Tylenol for a headache, sore throat maybe too... Sorry, that's about it! Yeah, you pretty much just have to wait it out.

I get nervous with robitussin because I took a teaspoon the morning I had my hemmorage @ 8weeks. I know the two are not related, but in my head they are. :/

Throat is still itchy, but the coughing has died down and I am just drinking lots of tea and the Cherry Ricola is soothing.

Sorry you're sick I've done Robitussin too while pregnant with my docs okay but I understand not wanting to take medication. Hope you feel better soon!

So I took my DS to the dr because his rash was worse this morning spreading to his hands, feet, and face. They think its a virus of some sort or possibly strep even though the swab came back negative. So basically we just have to wait it out and hope none of the rest of us get it. I feel bad for him, he looks miserable even though he acts mostly fine. Oh and the doc thought the orange thing was strange, probably not the cause but worth avoiding for a few weeks just to test it out.

Ashley, does your DS have any kind of fever with the rash? Poor little guy...

No although his skin is very warm, but they took his temp at it was less than 99 so that's a good sign at least. Hopefully it's something minor and his super sensitive skin is just overreacting to it. The last thing we need going around our house is scarlet fever!

Ashley - poor guy! DS had a wierd rash that turned into hives and it all started with irratation because he peed so much in his diaper, some got on his skin and it just got bigger and kept moving around. I hope the Dr. gives him something to help.

I'm frustrated today at work, so I have been looking at double strollers online.

    LOL!!

Ashley, that's a good sign that there isn't fever! I would say it's probably less likely to be viral if there isn't a fever. How is he now?

Well, I found quite the deal today!!! Our local thrift store was having a 50% off sale today. They had a brand new (still had the registration card attached stating it was manufactured in Oct. 2012) Graco Snugride, infant car seat. Now, normally I would never buy a car seat at a thrift store, because you don't know for sure how old they are, or if they were in an accident. BUT this one was clearly brand new. It was on sale for $20, but only $10 today. The infant seat we have doesn't expire for another 2 years. However, it has been through 3 babies, so it's seen better days. I was going to just make due with what we had, but I couldn't pass up a brand new seat for $10!!

ETA: Oh, and I found a bunch of cute baby girl clothes for 50 cents a piece too. My "big girls" had so much fun helping me pick out clothes for their new baby sister.

    Nice Laurie! I love a great deal...score!

Ashley, I hope your son is back to normal soon and nobody else in the fam ends up sick.

LOL at stroller shopping instead! I hope you feel better soon too. It's no fun sick while pregnant.
