Noelle - I kind of like when it's just the kids and I for dinner because I can make something easy that wouldn't necessarily fill up DH We need to go get a few groceries too. Ugh!

Soup and grilled cheese sounds yummy for supper I need something simple to make......

I like fixing stuff when DH is gone too... I can get by with giving the kids some apple slices with peanut butter and a bowl of popcorn. Obviously that doesn't work when DH is home.

I just put a broccoli/cheese/sausage/potato casserole in the oven for tonight. It's a recipe I've never tried before, but I can't see it turning out bad. Everything I put into it is stuff I like!! The kids will more than likely just pick at it... they are like that with most new things. My oldest is much better about food now though, so she'll at least eat it.

Sandra, that majorly sucks about the snow and falling on the steps... I do not miss Michigan winters at all!! I can only imagine that winter in Alberta must be much worse then what I remember of MI too... BLAH

Dang it Sandra, quit falling on the ice! I fell on Monday and my whole body is sore. I was holding DS which sort of made me fall on my side butt to keep him as high as possible so at least that kept me from hitting my stomach but boy did it rattle me. Be careful girl!

Laurie: casserole sounds strangely delicious right now. Hope it turns out!

Heather: jealous you have leftovers, that makes life easy!

I'm working on time-outs with DS (he's pestering his sister today) but he thinks me chasing him back to the bench is the funniest game ever. Grr!

Y'all be careful on the ice ... No ice here, but I'm certain I could manage to fall anyways!

I really miss writing SQL queries, BUT I'm home with my kids which was what I wanted for now. Still miss using my grown up brain sometimes. I was actually an accountant, but no matter what job I had I needed up finding a way to do SQL, or something similar. It was my favorite part! Accounting is too boring. When I go back to working outside the home, I'm going to be seriously considering a career change.

I made tuna noodle casserole tonight, and OMG, it was good!!!!!!!

We stuck with chicken noodle soup and toast tonight. Wish I had leftover spaghetti!

DH is working late tonight. I should really clean up the kitchen but I mostly just want to keep watching episodes of 24 on Netflix. LOL.
