Noelle: no that's helpful, thanks. I don't shop at whole foods or similar stores much for the same reason, so dang expensive! But they do sometimes have some really yummy stuff. Don't feel bad about the cupcakes, I made those brownies the other day and ate about 3/4 of the pan in 24 hours then threw the rest away before I could eat them.

My 4 dozen cookies lasted 2 days. Less than 48 hours actually. And DH only had 2. My kids probably had 3-5 each. And I ate the rest.

I feel your pain. My DH doesn't like sweets whatsoever. He could go the rest of his life without a "treat" and probably wouldn't notice. I can barely go a day!

LOL, my hubby is the sweet tooth here. When I'm pg I like it a *bit* more though. :P

Speaking of which, where's that bag of chocolate?

My DH is a diabetic so you'd think he'd steer clear of sweets......not so He can eat a heaping bowl of icecream like nobody else. He also really can't stomach the "sugar free" treats (they make him sick) so he just eats the real deal goodies with me! And adjusts his insulin accordingly LOL.

I do like sweets but when I run out for a nighttime snack is is most often salty things - I like chips better than chocolate.

In our house EVERYONE has a sweet tooth!!

About the pool table... my gut feeling was "go with green." BUT... I don't know... when you described your house I could totally see the tan. Maybe you can post of pic of where the table will go???

It'll go where the foosball table is at the moment. The other option I have is lighter wood vs dark wood but was leaning towards dark with all the walnut stained wood in the room (the bar area just outside the pic has wood cabinets the same color as the beam in this pic).

i think dark wood and tan would match really well, but for resale usually green goes better. If you don't plan on re selling tho i wouldn't worry about that. I bought my ex a used table once and he was angry i got him red.... o well.
