Agreed Kia, Emma is such a sweet name. Being a huge FRIENDS addict I've always loved that name for that reason too Sorry about the heartburn. I get it with force in my 3rd tri and am dreading it. I might ask for a prescription this time if my doc will give me something because it keeps me up at night it gets so miserable. Ugh.
My DD will sometimes talk to the baby or tickle/hug my belly. I'm trying really hard to get her to feel a kick, but baby's most active period is at night after she's in bed. Oh well, it'll happen eventually.
We're getting more snow today. We really need the snow here (ski resorts) but I'm wishing I'd started DD's swim lessons next month instead because walking outside with wet hair into the snow kind of sucks. Oh well, throw a hat on her I guess. Last winter we hardly got any snow and then had a water shortage so it's a good thing to get lots of snow. Anyway...the kids both slept poorly last night so I'm dragging this morning. Of course, I didn't get in bed until 12:30 so that makes it that much worse.
Heather, not to scare you, but my heartburn has gotten worse with each pregnancy. My first was bad, but nothing like the ones that followed!! I was able to get away with just a bit of Zantac at night for the last few weeks with my first. With my second I started taking Zantac at the end of the second tri, and had to take it twice a day for the last couple months instead of just once. With my third I started taking it even earlier, and had to switch to Prevacid by the end, because I would literally almost choke on stomach acid in my sleep if I didn't. It's been like that ever since number 3... choking on stomach acid if I don't have meds! And outside of pregnancy I NEVER get heartburn, and there is no food that triggers it, just the simple act of being pregnant!!!
Oh, and I really like Emmalyn.
