Thread: Cravings and Aversions

What is everyone craving and hating right now?

With my m/s I'm mostly having aversions to almost anything depending on the day, but turkey sandwiches and spicy chicken sandwiches from Carls Jr (Hardee's) always sound good. Oh and Slurpees too

Ummmmm...sandwiches!

I haven't really had any strong aversions yet. I have just felt blah about certain foods but not a strong aversion. Some things I've been really into lately are:
- soup (particularly cream of mushroom)
- pickles
- home made sandwiches (I've been steaming a LOT of lunch meat)
- cereal (as a quick bed time snack)

I normally like all those things but other than pickles I don't normally eat them as much as I have been. I bought a case of cream of mushroom soup today and a package of pre-cut mushrooms so I can add them to the soup. Ooooohhhhh, yum!

It's so funny to me - it is exactly the same as last pregnancy. I crave slurpees (or just pop) and French fries or anything salty, and I am totally turned off by vegetables.

About the only things I can eat are potatoes, Hawaiian roles, and lemons.

Carbs!

DH likes to get Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers from Wendy's, with just mayo. I took a bite of one the other day, and now that is all I want! I normally don't like cheeseburgers and never eat mayo on burgers! If I could have one everyday I would! Aversions have come and gone, whatever it happens to be at that particular time is what it is. I have noticed today though that my sense of smell has really become sensitive. I went to the grocery store today, and I could smell everybody that walked by...

Aversions right now are pretty much everything. Nothing sounds good but in particular meat! Ugg just the thought makes me nauseous! I haven't been throwing up but just a lot of mild nausea. The only thing that's sounds half way decent right now are carbs.

I haven't been really hungry, not feeling sick, just not interested. But when it does hit, it is usually something salty, Burger King onion rings and horseradish sauce, jalapeno cream cheese taquitos from 7/11, this fresh chips and spicy bbq sauce (usually I am not a BBQ fan, sisters family owned one for a long time and got burnt out on it) from a particular place. I kinda want Oh's cereal without milk (that's how I usually eat it though, so nothing new)

The only real aversion is beef. Chicken has been sounding pretty good. Things like sandwiches, potatoes, chips and hardboiled eggs have been sounding good.

Ive craved egg salad a few times (and I dont even like it) and other than that just food in general.. Im starving but can't put my finger on what I watn. Aversions: Beef. in any form. the smell taste etc YUCK (though I did manage to eat spaghetti at MILs with sauce filled with beef (gagging the whole time) and it didnt come back up.. (dinner was before we told)
