    Thumbs down Dr call.

I have been having major morning sickness the past few days. throwing up everything i try eating, besides subs, idk why. I put a call into my doctor and she wont give me any more zofran till i see her on November 8th! She wants me to try using half a unisom and a vitamin B6 tab twice a day. she said if it doesn't help to call on Monday. most of the day i cant even think of eating anything. Worse than with my daughter by far. Why me?

    *hugs*

Where you are throwing up so much, I don't know why your dr would hesitate to give you something to keep food in you? I had great success with 2x 50mg B6 with my last pregnancy but this one it was only slightly helping. Anyway, definitely give it a shot, but if you still aren't keeping food down, I'd insist until she gives you something. It's definitely dangerous if you aren't keeping food (and especially fluids) down!

I have a few zofran left from my surgery so that helps. when i can think of food i do half a sub (3-4) inches after taking one to make sure it stays down. i am able to keep water down at least. just when i try rice or cereal or waffles no go!

I'm reading unison can have doxylamine succinate as the active ingredient in a tablet form or diphenhydramine in gel form. Anyone know which one to use?

Doxylamine is the one you want to use.

As far as no Zofran - that SUCKS. I have no idea why your doc wouldn't let you take it if it was helping..?

my drs office wouldnt even tell me what was allowed for a sinus infection for another dr. My dr at work wanted to check with them before she gave me a perscription bc what we usually do she thought had been added to the not ok list. they wouldnt tell me anything until I saw them on Fri when I was officially a patient. SO I spent all week with a sinus infection that is now in my chest and my ear bc they wouldnt tell me anythign to tell the dr. I mean really...its' not like I would be able to just go pick it up-a dr still had to write it! when I went in friday she's like oh you sound horrible you need to be on an antibiotic. no duh lady!
on my list for naseau it lists Benedryl and unisom. the bratt diet maybe you can try unisom or benedryl to see if it helps? I had that problem with DS and subs was all I could keep down. I ate jolly ranchers all day as they seemed to help subside the feeling, and then only ate little bits at time. it was horrible. I hope you feel better soon!

I will be getting unisom and B6 today to see if they help. gum helps while doing dishes and i try to keep very hydrated which helps some. I wish there was a prescription that I could just take twice a day or something.
