Due date and FF question...

Ok, so first of all, I've put my BFP in FF but it is still estimating my next fertile days and not telling me a due date. What the heck? Perhaps I had a VIP Membership for my last BFP but I swear it changed!

Also, I'm unsure about how to calculate due date. Because I O'd late this cycle using my LMP won't really be accurate. If I use the day FF says I O'd (Sept 18 - CD 19) then it puts my due date at June 11, 2013. I honestly don't think I would have O'd on CD 19 though because I got my + OPK at 5pm on CD 18....does that make sense? I don't know. That would make my due date June 12. Thoughts? I guess it doesn't really matter. It will probably get changed a bunch of times. Blum 3

Go with June 12th for now, a day really doesn't make a difference. Will you do the testing you had done with Kennedy again?

Yes, we're going to have the same testing done. It's covered by our medical and it's great peace of mind for us.

For those who don't know my DSD has a genetic deletion. She is 15 but her mental state is that of a 1.5 year old. She can't talk, feed herself or toilet herself. Her life expectancy is unknown. She will never 'grow up' and she will never leave home. DH and his ex have both been tested but they don't know where the issue came from. His ex has two other daughters with different dads (keepin' it classy) who don't have the condition and we have our DD who also doesn't have it. When I was pg with DD we had a CVS at 10.5 weeks to ensure she was ok. It was scary but really worth it in the end as we got to enjoy the pregnancy knowing she was going to be ok.

I o'd on day 17 of my cycle. But I just used my LMP date because that is how my doctor will calculate my due date. My dr. Is not big on changing due dates unless there is an obvious size difference on my first ultrasound.

My EDD always gets moved around because of my late O day (CD20 ish) so I just go with the latest possible O day to avoid having to bump out my EDD further (which happened with my first pg and it was super disappointing LOL). I figure then if my OB moves it, then it'll just be closer so woohoo! My OB has been inconsistent on how he moves my dates so I never know.

If I were in your situation, I'd totally get testing done too. Peace of mind or time to prepare, either way. Plus insurance covers it? Score!

Yes, it's all covered. We're in Canada so we have great coverage. Because they can't say to 100% that the issue won't happen again, it's covered. We do live on an island so it means a trip to the mainland for the procedure. We get our ferry costs covered though, so that's nice. Last time we got a hotel room on the mainland though (we paid for that) so I could put myself on 24 hour bed rest. There can be complications arising from a CVS so it's best to take it easy. We might do that again if my mom can handle DD overnight and take her to/from daycare. She has had her overnight once before so I think they'll manage.

I need to find me a Big Sis shirt STAT. Too bad Carters is so far away.

It is possible that you O'd on CD19 since you can O 12-48 hours after a positive OPK. But I would go ahead and say you O'd on CD 20. Like others have said one day does not make a big difference and if anything your due date will just be moved up!

We got Robbie's "Big Bro" shirt at Gymboree. He still wears it sometimes but we both get sad. I live 10 minutes from Carters - and the store is very dangerous for me to go into Biggrin

That's a cute one! I live 10 minutes from a Carter's AND a Gymboree AND a Childrens Place (and a few other really cute local stores). It isn't a good thing LOL. I went wild when I just has my DD but have learned to control myself now that I have two that definitely can't share clothes.

Ha ha, we have a Carters and Gymboree an hour and a half away. Not far when you are used to big city driving regularly, but it's a ways for us. We normally make it a day trip going there. We have a Children's Place in town though.

So I emailed my genetic counselor. She remembers us as she has DD's picture on her bulletin board! LOL. I forgot about all the stuff I need to get before the CVS. Ugh! This is what her email said:

"I/we need an ultrasound done to confirm your dates, another blood sample to confirm your blood type, another cervical swab to check for Chlamydia and gonorrhea, and also a copy of your antenatal record. "

Ok, so what, my blood type has changed in 2.5 years? LOL. So silly.

Stranger things have happened. More likely they like to keep everything in one place and so they duplicate tests that have been done before. I know even though he had all my test results from the last 10 years my RE is repeating blood tests. At least we don't have to pay for all the testing, can't even imagine paying for doctors etc, my fertility drugs are even covered by my drug pan, but not the IUI Sad

Ha ha, yes, I probably forgot. Plus people start looking the same on here sometimes. Blum 3 (Oh, and on top of that I have a very poor memory).

Yes! Olympics! We took my daughter when she was 3.5 week old!!! So crazy now when I think about it.
