Thread: EEEEK!

One of my good friends is due in January (early but I can't remember when) and she's being induced tonight! She had her first baby 3 months before my DS and now she's having her second. Exciting that our kids will each have a playmate of their age! (she's been on bedrest and having contractions for quite some time)

That's always cool when you have someone close with kids the same ages. Our next door neighbors have 2 and our oldest DS and their oldest DS are 6 months apart with the younger 2
(us a DS, them a DD) being 5 weeks apart. We went through our second pregnancies together. They're done though so we won't have 3 the same age.

I hope it all went well.

*fingers crossed* for her. I love my baby group friends who have kids the same age as DD! One of them is due 10 days before me this time so we'll be doing it all over again together!

SO apparently induction didn't work and the dr said baby isnt coming anytime soon. (she was having problems which is why she was induced..she isnt due until the 12th) She decided she didn'tw ant to do a second round so she is at home on bedrest again. Apparently she wasnt following bedrest as her **** husband (Im not a big fan of him due to soem things in the past that happened) felt that it was ok for her to still clean/cook everything else. so the dr put the fear of God in him and she said that she hopes that this time will be better(aka actual bedrest) SO we wait.

O that's gotta be hard to be sent home. If I had no help I would ask to stay on br in the hospital.

How far along is she? Why were they inducing her?

She was having contractions for over 24 hours. and the placenta had detached itself. She's due Jan 12.

Perhaps I'm wrong but won't a baby die if the placenta is detached? It must be just partially...
