Favorite baby products...

Ok, I'm bored. LOL.

I thought it might be fun to post our favorite baby products...gear I guess. Photos are fun too! If this is your first...you could always post something you think LOOKS neat and see if any of us have use it!

Definitely my Ergo carrier. I also really like a good swing - ideally one that goes both front and back and side to side. I do have to say that only my first 2 liked the swing. However, when you have one that loves it, they LOVE it!!! Smile Unfortunately I never had a swing for my little man. At the time he was born we were living in something the size of a shoe box, so a swing wasn't an option. Now we have the space and I picked this one up (in great shape) Fisher Price Rainforest Baby Cradle Swing - Walmart.com at a thrift store for $25 a week ago. I really hope my next little person will enjoy it. Smile It only goes side to side, but for that price and condition I didn't want to pass on it.

Laurie, I have that swing and both my boys liked it. Especially DS1. Also, mine does go in both directions...you have to turn the seat and it pivots at the base so you can face it to the side or to the front. HTH and that yours does have this option too. Smile

Mine are the aiden & anais blankets!!! We still use them.

Also, I loved my Medela pump and starting buying Dr. Brown's to fit on it instead of Medela.

Laurie - I'm pretty sure you can turn the seat on that swing and go the other direction. The description on the Walmart site says that it goes both ways! Super score on the price!

I never had any Aiden & Anais blankets with DD...but I want some this time!!!!

LOL, you guys are awesome!! It probably does go both ways. I honestly really haven't played with it much at all yet. I kind of figured it "should" go both ways, but I couldn't figure it out right away. I use to have one that changed "at the top" so I didn't really play with the seat. THanks for letting me know!!! Smile

A good swing is a life saver, so is a vibrating bouncy chair! Logan LOVED his, we used it so much! I also really liked our Diaper Duck:

Handy little blue baggies for individual dirty diapers Smile We used one for a while.

I REALLY wanted to buy some pretty pink Aden and Anais blankets this time.......dangit. I will buy pretty blue ones instead! I am a master swaddler with just a plain blanket, can't wait to have some nice big A&A ones to try!

I like my Boba carrier, but I really like to wrap baby when they are tiny instead of use a SSC. Love my Moby, can't wait to try a new wrap this time too!

That stroller looks nice Kia! I'm secretly planning on 'needing' a new stroller on our vacation...might be a good option as DD could probably use it now. Biggrin

Wubbanub paci's, swaddler blankets (I don't remember the brand I used), little baby bjorn potties, cloth diapers, bouncy seats, a boppy. I don't even remember it all. I can't wait to start getting this stuff out!

I am getting a video monitor this time around! I can't wait!! Things I couldn't live without bouncy/vibrating seat, swing, swaddling blankets (our dd had to be swaddled until 1year!), boppy pillow, oh and a pack-n-play with a bassinet section!

Swing! I have the same swing listed but it's the Ocean Wonders. It is just the pattern before. My whole house is beach themed so I love that one. Smile

vibrating seat. Need a new one! We burnt out the motor on the last one.

Moby wrap. I don't really wear as much after the newborn phase so I've never tried anything else.

Thats about it. I'm thinking I "need" a 31 Utility tote for a diaper bag. Smile

Aden and Anais are very generously sized muslin swaddling blankets. The more you use them, the more gorgeously soft they become!

I liked my MOby, but I agree I didn't use it at all after the newborn phase. I switched to the Bjorn. Also, that was easier to manuever on and off when out and about.

I agree on the Aden & Anais blankets. I too am a master swaddler like Sandra Wink but I bought these because having summer babies, it was nice to have lightweight blankets. My DS still totes his around as his blankies and loves them more than anything.

My DS wasn't a big fan of being swaddled tightly after the first month, but my DD needed to be until 8 months & we LOOOOOOOVED the Miracle Blanket.

Vibrating chair - I need a new one too as we burned out the motor (and ours is pink...my poor DS had to just deal with it). My kids both loved this more than the swing.

Video monitor - didn't get until DD was 1 and wondered how I lived without it. I have an older Summer Infant one but it's starting to die so might need a new one.

I love my umbrella stroller. It's a Kolcraft and has 2 different recline positions. I broke my first canopy and they sent me a new one for free too so I love it even more for good customer service.

Pack and play - we travel a lot so we use ours a ton!

I have 2 swings this time for different rooms because it was a lifesaver for DS2
I agree, the Aden & Anais blnakets are amazing. So lightweight and big and can be used for anything!
I also love the newborn rock n play. Seat sits high up so little hands and paws can't reach the baby and perfect for moving around and reaching baby while sitting on the couch or laying in bed.
