Feeling baby move

I might have missed this post but I wanted to see how any of you ladies been feeling much movement. I read after your first you tend to feel movement sooner. At my Gender scan at 18 weeks our little man was laying on his belly and would not budge so they could not get all the measurements they needed so we have another appointment on Feb 18th, which I"m looking forward to.

Although I started feeling this baby in the early 2nd tri, he was very inconsistent up until 20 weeks. Now he pokes me on and off all day! Sorry your LO was being a bugger but glad you get to see him again! Biggrin

I first felt DD at 18 weeks but this one I felt at 14 weeks. My placenta was in the front with DD which explained why I didn't feel her earlier. Do you know where your placenta is? Sorry to hear your wee one was being a little stinker!

I dont know where my placenta is, I will ask at my next appointment. A few times I felt him I thought when I sneezed I would feel something afterwards. Now I feel more pressure or somewhat like gas. I guess that's him but I was just wondering. He was for sure being a little stinker. The tech though didn't do much to make him move, she moved my stomach some. when others in the pass with my baby girl would make me get up or turn to the side. He had his legs crossed and when she moved my belly you could see him flick his feet, was funny. Guess he just wasn't in the mood:) lol

Ya, i get that pressure feeling too...like gas or something, but it's baby moving and stretching.

I find it SO annoying when techs don't really try. Sad

This is #4 and I STILL haven't felt baby. I felt my other 3 by 16 weeks. Dh could feel my last at 18 weeks! If I hadn't borrowed a Doppler I would be going crazy by now, but I'll be really glad to see this baby on Monday. Hoping it just means this is a super laid back baby.

I have begun to feel her over the past few days. I mostly feel her when I have to pee. I am pretty sure she is kicking my bladder when it is the fullest because I will get quick surges of "OMG! I HAVE TO PEE" then its back to "Oh, I have to pee." The other movements have been just rolling feelings; nothing too sudden. My placenta is anterior and its my first so I haven't been too worried about not feeling her much. Besides, once she gets going it will be "on" all the way to the end. Smile

Okay, feeling better. I kind of figured but I just couldn't remember what it felt like from when I was pregnant with my little girl (even though it was not that long ago). I am feeling him low and to the left, keeps me running to the bath room.

I wish I would have said more to try and make him more. Although I love to see my baby at ultrasounds it get very expensive with my insurance.

I felt my first at 17 weeks, and it was constant from the very first day. I felt my second just before 16 weeks, and it was also constant from the very first day, and I could see and feel movement on the outside at 18 weeks! I felt my 3rd and 4th sometime during the 17th week, but it took until 20 weeks with both of them before I was getting any sort of consistent movement. I didn't feel my 5th until the 18th weeks and it took until about 23 weeks before movement was consistent. And Lauren, my little boy is SOOOOO laid back!!!!!!!!! This one I felt right at 17 weeks, and it has been consistent from the very first day again.

So, they have all been different!!!

This is my third and I have felt this baby's movements the latest. He also seems to be the "laziest" so far of mine.

Laurie - I'm constantly amazed by how much you remember from each pregnancy. You must have some sort of photographic memory!

LOL, I'm not sure why I remember this stuff. I use to do a really good job of remembering which baby did what at any particular time, but I have to admit, my memory is starting to fail me on that!! I'm to the point now where I say things like, "I'm not sure which one it was, but one of mine did such and such at that age."

LOL Laurie. I can't even remember the ages my ONE child did stuff at! How old are you? I'm 37 and the memory definitely isn't as good anymore.

With DD I felt her first at 21 weeks (or 22?) and with this LO I felt at 12 or 13 weeks cant remember. my placenta was anterior with DD and this time is Posterior so very different. I am also feeling the bladder kicks this time and NEVER had that with my DD.

I won't claim mine was great at 26 though, so you might be ok. Blum 3

started feeling baby about 2 weeks ago? This past weekend baby TOTALLy shifted position..I felt a huge wave go across my belly and now I hardly feel anything. I guess he got into a better position for him, but not where I can feel much!

I was feeling what I thought were consistent taps but now I'm super constipated again and those sensations are so horrible to notice movement.

This baby is CRAZY. I had some serious BONKS the other night....now I'm noticing movement on the bottom right. The movement was pretty much on the left side before and the ultrasound tech made it sound like the spine was on the left and the legs and arms on the right. I think baby made a turn recently. Hopefully he/she is head down now. I'm a little shy of the breach after DD never turned.

I'm starting to feel lots of knees or feet up by my belly button now...baby's getting big!

This baby is super low for me this time and baby is definitely transverse still. I feel arms on the right and kicks to the left. Hopefully baby decides to turn soon! Otherwise I'm going to be quite uncomfortable soon! Wink

I have been feeling them for about 4 weeks now! There are 3 of them. They kick each other.

More than one would be so weird. Do they wake up around the same time and sleep at the same time?

I feel the baby really low at night sometimes. I'm actually preparing to start feeling less as the baby move up more. My placenta is in the front again and it was difficult for me to feel DS for a long time because of that.
