Default First day back to work

I can't believe it has been 12 weeks already.

I didn't think I would want to be back at work, but part of me did. I missed the analytical side to my job that gives my brain's geeky side something to do.

With that said, this morning was really hard. I felt so bad leaving her. Thankfully, my parents wanted to watch her and I know she is getting lots of love and attention.

DS started preschool today as well. My baby is growing up.

The last 2 months have been crazy. Lots of little trips to see relatives and some coming to see us. I spent the last week working on the projects I never got around to during my maternity leave.

    I hope everyone is well!

Here's a recent pic of the little lady on our way home from Michigan.

    Great pic...she is gorgeous!!

I started back at work this past Wednesday and DS1 started preschool that day too...which is why I started on a Wednesday. I wish I could still be at home. It's been a bit rough starting back since Ainsley mostly refused the bottle and ate very little while I was at work. So this weekend I did a bottle feeding boot camp and mostly pumped and bottle fed her. She started doing much better by Saturday evening and even took bottles in the nursery at church Sunday morning and evening.

That's nice that she is able to be with your parents while you are working. I hope things go smoothly for you all getting into the swing of things and your new normal.

We were having a bit of bottle refusal too. I've been trying to give 1-2 a day for a week or so. She's fine if Im not there. If she hears me then its a struggle to give her a bottle.

DS was always good with a bottle, but not a great nurser, so this is new to me.
