I don't think ya'll are suckers. I'm not super surprised either but I always try to give the benefit of the doubt on here too b/c I've seen some crazy stories that apparantly really were true...at least weren't called out as otherwise. I would hate to not support someone, who came her looking for a community, through a crazy time in their life just b/c I was supicious of their story. I think we have a great board of ladies here...who wouldn't want to be a part of it.

I had the same vibe from that point too, but really wanted to give the benefit of doubt to someone. OH well...people need to find more productive hobbies. To be honest, I was thinking of PMing Missy on this to see what she thought but hadn't had time so nice catch Missy I'm always impressed with how you can keep your eyes on so many boards!

Very true Lynn. Sometimes terrible things DO happen, and I would hope everyone could come here for support. Something about flockoflambs posts just rubbed me the wrong way though. The way she worded things seemed "off" to me sometimes.

It was quite the spectacle huh. Too bad i am the most gullible person you will ever meet. I just like to see the good in everything.

I remember thinking it was weird that she started SO many threads all of a sudden, but the thought of a total fake out didn't really cross my mind too much for the same reason other people said - I couldn't imagine spending so much time making up completely false stories. I don't think it's that people are gullible or not, but if you can't possibly imagine doing it, why would you imagine others doing it? I don't spend enough time on these boards to realize that people would troll them to make stuff up.

I was so upset that she said her 7 or 8 year old took the brunt if the crash from the front seat (where a child of that age has no flipping business sitting) that I couldn't even respond to the post. I'm a car safety freak. I'm glad it's not true.

I was thinking the same thing! I was thinking, "and what country are you from again??? And is it normal for a young child to be in the front seat???"

See, I was wondering why a 7/8 year old would be in the front seat too.. but you know.. I didn't want to start something! Upset anyone, etc.
