What is everyone currently loving and hating??
I've been eating turkey sandwiches for lunch pretty much every day and have yet to get sick of them. Loaded with lots of banana peppers and pickles. Pretty much anything salty and spicy is my best friend right now. Got some very spicy Chinese of Sunday (thanks Jackie for making me crave it! lol) and almost killed DH with the spice! I thought it was delicious.
Still can't drink coffee, but that's expected. And Coke is hit-and-miss.
UUuuuuummmmm...noodles! For me, it's SO noodles. Like instant noodle soup. I've been having it every single day. Has to be chicken!
I also love salty and sour but that's me when I'm not pg too. Pickles, sauerkraut, salt & vinegar chips. Ummmm....so good.
I was out yesterday and went to Quiznos. The pickled peppers were SO GOOD. I was worried I'd feel sick later from eating like big ones but I didn't!
I had to stop drinking coffee with DD but not this time. Ummmmm...so glad.
Was all about the pickles last week, and I was hoping that my reprieve over the weekend meant MS was getting better, but it was all lies and body trickery! Now nothing sounds remotely edible again.
I was chowing down on Dill Pickle rice cakes yesterday.......mmmmm......I think I need chips tonight.
I am on a big noodle kick too. But then again, I ALWAYS love pasta. I am not big on spicy food at all, so pregnancy doesn't bring that out. I do love me some Chinese though.......if only I could afford Chinese takeout every night!
I can also pound down a double cheeseburger from McD's in like, 18 seconds.
Nothing really specific. I will crave something, and once I get it, I am good. And sometimes I will want something so bad and once I get it, I am like, "well that wasn't as good as I was hoping". I have been drinking so much water though. I remember when I was pregnant with DS I wanted spicy Mexican food, the spicier the better! I loved it!
Salty, salty, salty!!! I have finely had enough energy to start cooking "real" foods again this past week, and my nausea is almost completely gone now, so food actually tastes "right" again. Some of my favorites that I've made lately have been, "Cheese and spinach quiche," "Lazy cabbage roll casserole," "broccoli casserole," and "squash mac and cheese." Thankfully I seem to be craving vegetables, because I certainly wasn't getting enough in the prior weeks when I really couldn't cook and grabbing a burger at McDonalds was just way too easy.
I wrote a whole post until DD took over the tablet, and added a whole lot, then exited the page. Otherwise I would have posted her post lol. Definitely CHEESE. Which is something I didn't eat before being pgn. And chinese sounds good but I don't eat it cause of the gluten. But I had thai peanut noodles homemade, so that was delicious. Milk chocolate too, but that's every day of my life. Yesterday was the first time I could drink plain water! WOOOHOOOO! Today I've been really hungry compared to yesterday not wanting to eat. So I'm very happy with that.
