free carrier?

I receieved an email with a promo code for a "free" carrier. Seven the code is FAMILY2013
when I enter the code It makes it $3.45 (which is sitll not bad....but not free either) but I haven't heard of this company before. Anyone familiar with them? also if you try the code let me know if it makes it 100% free or if you sitll have to pay a little (not counting shipping.. the email says that is all you need to pay)

Here is the email

Hi Patience,

We wanted to thank you for being an EverydayFamily member with this promo code for a free baby carrier (a $48 value) at the Seven Slings website! The promo code is "FAMILY2013".

Go to the Seven Slings website, click on "Shop Now" and select any baby carrier you would like (be sure to go to their sizing page so you can get the right size carrier for you). Once you have selected your size, you will automatically be directed to the "shopping bag" where you can enter the promo code "FAMILY2013". This promo code will take off 100% of the baby carrier purchase and all you are required to pay is the shipping fees.

You can use the promo code more than once however you will need to open a new browser to do so!

Thanks again!

I have a few friends who got that. It turns out the shipping is really, really high. Like basically the price of the carrier.

when I looked it appeared shipping would only be 11.99 but Im not sure why it's not taking the 100% off. .........ok just tried again. its adding in 3.50 for a size exhange coverage.

I know people who have got the sling. Kia did I think. I've ordered a nursing cover and a car seat blanket from a similar setup. All was well. I've heard they sell your address to marketing companies but I haven't noticed an increase in junk mail. Who doesn't sell your info these days? Sad

I didnt like the carrier I had with DS and I would love to try a different one. For 11.99 shipping I figure I can always resell if I dont like it. I had just never heard of the company before to know if their slings were any good. really tempted. not sure how long the code is good for.

I dont remember the brand. it was a front/back carrier as opposed to a wrap/sling type.

I had a code for them too. I was going to order one until I read online reviews, it sounds like if you order one getting the sizing insurance is something good to have. Most people I read reviews from complained about the sizing. Smile
