Same here! Too messy for pics! Maybe we should all be honest and have no shame and post pics of how our house usually looks!

Oh, I so want to see everyone's house pictures!!! This should be good motivation for everyone to clean if nothing else, right?!?! Kia, I definitely want to see your farm house - messy or not. Smile

I just took some of mine... they are semi honest. The house is for the most part clean, because with 5 kids if you ever get to the point where it isn't, you may never find your way back out again. Wink I did pick up some miscellaneous toys that were floating around though... I will get them all loaded and then post.

Because of our massive remodel projects that were just done they will have to be recent. lol... I may do some "light cleaning" tomorrow and then take some... tho certain rooms will just have to stay messy,.... ok most rooms will

Okay, this is seriously a LOT of pics!!

Oops... forgot to add this one. This is what you see right as you enter the house. This has our "stereo" and in the cabinets and drawers are lots of homeschool supplies and craft books.

Starting with the entrance to our house...

And as you go in you are in the living room - also the dining area/"homeschool room."

And another pic of the dining area, and you can see our computers are there too and part of the kitchen.

Another kitchen pic.

And another view of the living room from the opposite side.

The "master bedroom." You can see our bed and Aidan's pack n play where he sleeps.

The projector (our "tv") opposite our bed.

On the wall that I didn't bother to show in our bedroom, are just bins full of our clothes. One day we hope to put a wardrobe there, but for now the bins will do.

Opposite our bedroom is the toy room.

And another pic of the toy room from a different angle.

The girl's bedroom.

And another one.

And this one shows the "master bathroom" a bit off of the girl's bedroom... it's actually their bathroom though. Smile

And finally - Outside. This pic shows a large portion of our property. We have 2.5 acres. I guess this shows maybe a little over half? You can see our house in the middle (with our big van in the way). You can see our little cabin off to the left, and the kids swing set off to the right.

And a close up of the house.

And the kiddo's play area.

That's all folks!!

Great pics Laurie! I LOVE your house. So beautiful inside and it looks so clutter free for the size and the number of people living in it! You must be a wonderful cleaner! I had to LOL at your yard...SO flat. We live in some hilly terrain! I love the girls bedroom! Looks so nice with the matching beds and covers!

Ok, I took some photos with my phone but they're a bit dark due to the time of day.

Front of our house.

This is our yard, it's pie shaped and contains a bunch of exposed bedrock. A good place to live in earthquake land.

Looking to the right at the swing set.

Sorry this one is so dark. This is our entry way...part of what sold us on the house.

I cheated and used a kitchen photo from when we did the house inspection before moving in. It's pretty much the same but a big mess. Blum 3

The formal living room

The dining room. We don't have an eat in kitchen so we eat everything in here.

The family room aka the playroom aka the most used room but also the messiest. I didn't even pick up at all. Ooops.

Where the magic happens. BA HA HA! Don't be fooled, the rest of the room is a huge mess. Blum 3 Can you tell which side is mine? Blum 3

DD's room. This is the only room we've painted since moving in 5 years ago.

LOL, yes your area is hilly, Heather!! Smile AND green. Ours doesn't really ever get green... unless you count the cacti that sprout up in the summer. I really like the colors in your house, so I don't see a rush to paint. I love the wood burning stove, and the big windows in your dining area. Oh, and the outside of your house is gorgeous!!! Very nice. Smile

Yes, a bit green even in the winter. You should see it in spring/summer!

The wood stove is a trick, it's actually natural gas! We hardly ever use it...but it's a good place to put Santa's cookies. Blum 3

I found a few pics from after we got organized when we moved in last spring. I only have pics of the kids rooms and the kitchen though. I'll have to take some more!

Here is the kitchen

And my big kids room

Don't you love the ugly curtains in my kids room Wink We left everything up that came with the house, so it's pretty ugly looking!

Emerson's room

And here is the outside of our house. We are currently renting (when we moved here 9 months ago we didn't know the city at all and didn't want to rush in to buying) We only rent the top level - the bottom level has 2 more tenants. So fitting 6 people in just one level of a split level will be INTERESTING when June rolls around!

Sandra, very nice!! I love your kitchen. It's similar to ours, but seems... cleaner! Smile I actually painted our cabinets white shortly after we moved in. They were this "fake wood" off whitish with a hint of pink stripes in them... not anything that resembled real wood, that's for sure. Very wise to rent before you jump into buying something. I'm sure it will all work out just fine when baby arrives. How are the other renters about "noise?"

Patience I love all the TREES!!!!!! Smile I can't wait to see more.

So here is my home. I apologize for the mess. It is Very Very bad. Not only have I been on bedrest for 11 weeks but we had everything stored in rooms the many rooms and halls since we moved in because our basement was flooding constantly. The basement is finally done and the coal shoot (that’s right 1800’s coal shoot) was blocked up. Soon the rooms will be organized and everything stored downstairs! Yay. You can tell the two rooms I have been living in as they are the cleanest by far. (living room and dining room). Sorry it is so long, tons and tons of pictures. I will add the outside pics someday, as i dont go out much.

 photo backyard2_zpsa8028261.jpg photo backyard3_zpse7cb7a96.jpg
Backyard (connected to “side yard”) you can see the milking parlor, back shed, the back of our attached garage, as well as the back deck. This summer we are putting up a privacy fence in the back so we can have a spot for Elora to run and play without the possibility of her meeting a tractor and the guys in the parlor staring at us.
 photo Front_zps428ebae9.jpg
Out the front door. You can see the driveway where the suburban is (my in laws). The snow makes It harder to see lol. You can see the remaining silos from the 70’s and the new dry manure pit! (not too interesting except to know that that semi used to be in front of my house because there was a shed where it and the manure pit now are)

Great pics girls! I took a few yesterday but didn't have time to upload them until now...

Main room/kitchen (sorry about the bright sun)

Kitchen

Basement bar area we just finished Smile

Our basement is huge and we didn't want a ton of bedrooms so we put in a theater room (there's a projector screen on the opposite wall)

Gym

Random backyard pic from the summer obviously as its currently under 6" of snow

Playroom (this is amazingly clean for this room)

DS room

DD's room (this is pretty dirty for her room even but this is what it looked like when I was taking pics so oh well)

Outside pic

Thanks we love the open space too. Our last house was a multi level with very separate rooms so its a nice change. The funny thing about open layouts though is after a while they feel smaller than they used to Wink

We cleaned up the living room this morning so I snapped some pics Smile Sorry, they are a little dark.

The front door is behind those chairs down the half-flight of stairs.

This is looking the other way - from our living room in to what is technically the dining room, but we use it as the toy room and office.

:bleh: I soooo love the W/D.. but DH won't let me use it right now. He wants me resting.. Secret but I won't complain because I can't reach the bottom of it anymore

:biglaugh:

I know, right?? We still don't know where this little man is going to sleep!! I think once we find out at the shower if we get the pack n play or not, that will decide where we start setting up. If we get it, the crib will go up in his bedroom which is upstairs. If not, we'll set the crib up in our room.

:teethchatter: I hate being a last minute person!!

Thank ya, ma'am!!! Biggrin I had to convince DH to go for the dark wood.. to the tune of everything else being light in the house (ie. paint) so that it didn't look like we live in a dungeon. Lol We're very happy how it turned out. Biggrin

Adriana - I hear you on the nesting. If I were you I'd put the crib in the nursery and worry about your room later. Chances are you'll get a PnP as a gift...and if not, you'll want one anyways so just go buy one. Blum 3
