Thanks we love the open space too. Our last house was a multi level with very separate rooms so its a nice change. The funny thing about open layouts though is after a while they feel smaller than they used to

We cleaned up the living room this morning so I snapped some pics
Sorry, they are a little dark.
The front door is behind those chairs down the half-flight of stairs.
This is looking the other way - from our living room in to what is technically the dining room, but we use it as the toy room and office.
