Share some of the items you've crafted!

I am really not very crafty at all!

I did however, make DD's Halloween costume this year. She wanted to be Strawberry Shortcake and I hated the cheap costumes in stores. So I made her the tutu, I hand embroidered the strawberry on the tshirt, and made her headband. Thankfully I could buy the tights separately!




Other than that I don't do much crafting. I did sew myself an apron a few years ago, but I don't own a sewing machine so it's not something I do regularly.

My oldest dd and I made these. There are 4 (for each of my girls), but I couldn't locate one of them...

Sandra: love her costume! My DD has just become interested in Strawberry Shortcake and I hate it so much! lol So I haven't bought any movies and tell her they are just at Grandmas (haha).

Laurie: adorable! I'd love to try a doll/stuffed animal but haven't found the ambition to attempt that one yet.

I try my best to be crafty, but I'm not. I can sew a bit so I've made the kids a few blankets...

And I also made DS's pirate crib bumpers and wall decals (using my Cricut) which was the biggest project I've done...here's a pic of his room (the crib bedding is hard to see though..it has a skull, pirate ship, hook, ship wheel, nautical star, and an anchor on it - though he's removed about half of those by now):

Sandra, for not being crafty, that looks pretty good to me!!

Ashley, I wish I could do bedding... maybe someday. I love quilts!

Okay, I'm going to be a photo hog. My FAVORITE project I've ever done was a mural I painted in the girl's room back when we were in MI. I was so sad when I had to paint over it when we sold the house...

That is so cute Laurie! I'm not much of an artist. I did paint these pics for my DDs wall because I needed something that matched but didn't want to she'll out the $ for cute pictures so a few art supplies later (no making fun...she thinks they're awesome haha!)

They are awesome pics!! I'm NOT a freehand artist at all. I can only "arrange" well. I had an overhead projector and individual fish and landscaping pieces that I used when I did the underwater mural.

I love all these posts! What a great group of creative women! I seriously do to much crafting...so I'm going to have to figure out what to post...lol. This might take a while.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pics!! I try to be crafty...pinterest helps alot lol I made these burp clothes from scratch! The embroidery is machine embroidery cause I am not crafty enough to do by hand (Sandra, that costume turned out so cute!). But I do design the applique's myself for the machine! So it is fun to do that too!

Ok, Jessica! I LOVE the applique work! Does your machine do it all for you or do you do it by hand?
