Uhhh.....no spring here. Highways closed due to snow. Which, in the Canadian prairies, is a bigger deal than most other places. We are used to this, but yesterday was NUTS. 100 people injured in a highway pile up. 60 cars.
We always still have snow this time of year (winter lasts from October-April, pretty much) but it was SO nice out 2 weeks ago and some of the snow was melting. Then we got hit by this whopper.
booo It snowed yesterday, and it is supposed to snow another 8 inches tomorrow. Last Friday it was dang near 90 degrees...
Haha....this is a photo from this morning on the Trans Canada highway right by the turn off to the small town my family lives in. This is like....the only major highway through the province. My poor teenaged sister was snowed in last night and had to miss the high school play she was in competing at festival. Someone had to fill in for her, and they didn't know the part so they carried a script.
