Def having a sugar crash. and sOO much to do today. I can't believe we are registering DS for pk! (Pray he's uncooperative!! We have already been told he isnt going to qualify however if they can't get the "data" they need.. he willg et put in)

Yay for being done! I'm probably going to do mine soon. I was going to opt out, but now I'm thinking I'll just do it...whatever...

    Why wouldn't he qualify?

he's too advanced. and both of his parents have steady jobs.... which supposedly means we can afford to put him into a private daycare. (which we looked into in case he doesnt make it in and its going to be over 5000 to put him in) which we CANT afford

I was wondering why he wouldn't qualify too, but that makes sense. Most of the pre schools that I've looked at have always cost around $100 a month... but that's just preschool, not the all day, everyday sort of thing which is probably what you need, right? And I thought $100 a month was too much...

I hope the glucose test goes well for you!

I emailed the pk teacher and she said he scored 13 out of 20 points so he won't qualify developmentally. So unless the hearing and vision get him in we are out He "failed" the hearing because he was uncooperative, and the vision is showing he has an astigmatism in his right eye.... between that and asthma/alelrgies I hope he gets in! Based on what is available in our area he would have to be in a different daycare center (which where he is now is 80$ for 4 days a week ) so if he doesnt get in we have to switch his daycare to the one tht offers prek, pay 500 abotu a month and then put hte baby in a DIFF daycare. HE SO needs to get in.. the paperwork asked waht the bring home income is BEFORE deductions. that's hardly fair! You arent counting what is actually coming home! not to mention factoring in the mortgage and car payments etc. that deduct from the take home. it currently looks as if we can afford private pk no problem... but when you pull out everythign they take BEFORE I even see hte check, then the house and car payments we totally cant afford it. GRRRR
