Ugh! For some reason pregnancy wants to make me a man.
I had laser treatments prior to DS and with the exception of the bikini, it is still an issue (albeit not as bad). I think the most annoying one for me is the hair on my belly to my pubic bone. It's not so much, but I'm dark hair and pale skinned, so even a bit is really, really noticeable.
sorry I just thought about this and how I have to "shave" my belly before my ultrasound tommorrow. ;)
Haha, I've always had hair there, but during pregnancy it's really dark. Since I don't really "look" down there, when I did a few weeks ago and saw like...three really long hairs, I FREAKED OUT. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Kinda strange but with each pregnancy, I have lost more body hair. I think if I had five kids, I might not need to shave my legs anymore. And I had really thick dark hair before kids. It's thinner, lighter and more sparse with each kid.
My pregnancies are awful so I've always thought this was God 's little gift to me for my suffering.
Pregnancy does the opposite to me, my hair growth slows waaaay down. Normally it grows like Sasquatch and if I shave my legs, etc first thing in the morning I have definite growth by afternoon. Same with the hair on my head, it grows way faster than most people (only a good thing if I want to grow it out, otherwise a giant nuisance). But I can go 2 full days when I'm pregnant between shaving and its barely there still. Very weird.
Anyway sorry about your belly hair being noticeable. Such an annoyance!
Pregnancy hormones sure do funny things :)
I am one of the least hairy people ever. My friend in high school used to make fun of me saying I never went through puberty because I only grew like, 3 hairs in each armpit. LOL. My leg hair is blonde, and in the winter, I only shave every 2 weeks. In the summer, every 5 days is fine, even every week. I also have never plucked my eyebrows, except once, my makeup artist did it before my wedding. The hair on my head does grow pretty fast though, and it is thick and unruly. All my crazy hair issues just concentrated themselves up there!
I am getting hair on my belly too! The OB mentioned it and I was embarrassed. I didn't have it with dd but this time it's getting long, as far as eyebrows I have never had to pluck either!
I am pale and dark haired too, so hair shows up a lot on me. But thankfully my hair growth has slowed down this time. My underarm hair doesn't have to be shaved very often at all, yay!
Hair on your belly? That's your concern? Ask me about my chin and neck. I get very dark hairs growing on my chin and neck. It's so gross! It seems to be worse with pregnancy too. I got a very good mirror for Christmas so I can get close up and pluck them out...but it still sucks. SO gross. :(
I also have too much hair everywhere else, including my belly. Yup, it sucks. I guess that's the price to pay to have such nice thick hair. LOL
I haven't felt up to doing my eyebrows this entire pregnancy and at this point they are so big and bushy, it's horrendous. I've used a little Nair between them so at least I still have two brows! But they have no shape. And normally I do them weekly. I'm afraid to wax them because one time I waxed during my period and my face swelled up. The girl told me it was from hormones and to never do it during AFvagain. I can only imagine pregnancy would be far worse?
And I get random chin hairs, too. Yuck.
As for my head? Dark and curly and out of control! I can only get my haircut by Ouidad specialists (special curly hair stylists). There are zero near me so I have to wait til I visit my mom to get a cut. The cuts are pricey ($120 or so) but they last six to eight months. I haven't visited mom since April, though, and my hair is so long and icky. Six more weeks until I go visit and chop it all off!
OH you name it, I have it. lol! I think I might be really closely related to a mammoth or something (hence the laser treatments)

PS Sandra - I'm so jealous of you! I would love to not have much hair except on my head. ;)
