    Default Hospitalized.

Quick update for those not on Facebook. I'm in the hospital for a blood clot in my arm that traveled to my lung. It's very small and in a part if mung considered least dangerous and I've now been on lovenox for three full days so I'm essentially out of the danger zone but this was the scariest thing ever in my whole life. I really thought I was dying at first.

They are letting Oliver stay with me. I had to pump and dump for a few hours last night due to the dye from the ct scan. He had formula for three feedings. Today he's been nursing over an hour at a time, I think the bottles were upsetting to him! Poor baby.

Oh goodness, that is incredibly scary! So happy to hear things are getting to be ok now. Poor mama and poor baby...a rough time for all involved!!

What causes a blood clot like that?

Pregnancy is a big clot risk. And now that I've had one, my risk is super high of having worse clots if I had another baby so for sure now Oliver is our last baby!!!

Wow, I didn't know that! Very scary stuff!!

You are doing the family planning program with charting for pregnancy prevention, right? I'm sure it has a name that I just don't know.

Are you out of the hospital yet? I'm sure you'd like to get home if you aren't yet.

Headed home today. I'll be in blood thinners for about six months, maybe even a year. Sigh. Just when I thought all the pregnancy junk was done!!!

Glad to see you're home...I know you must be happy to be out of the hospital. Sorry things have been so rough for you though.

Yikes sorry to hear that but glad you are out of the hospital now. That happened to a close friend of mine postpartum too. Scary stuff!
