I have been stopping in, but have been too busy to post. I still have family in, but they will be leaving on Monday. Most of the family knows now about the baby. MIL (she already knew) has told one of her friends, who is a big blabber mouth. So most people will probably already know before they get their Christmas cards :( . DH called her tonight and griped at her about it, but she has already done it, so what can you do? Otherwise we has a great Thansgiving. I have decorated for Christmas, but I am trying to find a tree to replace our main one. It is harder to find the right one than I thought it would be!
Leah - BLAH about your MIL spilling the beans. I HATE that. :( It makes me no longer trust that person with information. Trust is SO huge. Do you have a fake tree? I see people with trees up already and I figure they must have artificial ones...real ones would die by Christmas!
Adriana - sounds exhausting at your house. LOL. I'm glad my family is in town...they can just go home when they wear out their welcome.
Whitney - YAY for finding a place to rent!!!! That must be a big relief!
We took DD out to Boston Pizza tonight for dinner. She must be growing up, or we got lucky. She was SO freakin' good. She sat in her booster, didn't climb all over me the WHOLE meal. Ate some food. Ya, it was the best dinner outing with her since she was a baby and slept through meals. :P Now she's watching a few minutes of Sesame Street before bed.
We can't seem to keep things from him, birthday and christmas gifts usually get given before hand. He will get a few Santa gifts on Christmas day though, nothing big though. We also got him a new video card for his computer and bought Minecraft (he usually plays on DHs computer but DH wants to play with him over the network).
Adriana- I am looking forward to the lunch too! I told DH about it today.
Just stopping in real quick to say hey! We had a busy weekend. We were with family, had a birthday party tonight, and I had work today too. I'm exhausted! Can't wait for this over whelming exhaustion to go away. I'm having such a hard time functioning right now!
Yes, we do fake ones. I can't handle the mess a real tree makes. They have ones for sale around here, I don't know if people are buying them yet though!
I have found my kids act much better the older they get at restaurants. Which, of course, if we have to wait awhile for food that doesn't help! But they are so much easier now than they used to be.
We had DS2's birthday party yesterday :)
It was pretty low key - just a family dinner, cake and presents - since none of our family lives here. Here is a pic of my 1 year old monster!
