My daughter's middle name is Adelaide too! Nice choice mama! We rock! :)

I like Adelaide a lot! It's classy! :) I think I'm adding it to my list! :)
Mel, I agree with the "correct" spelling of common names. I know it sounds lame, but I can't stand the excessive Ys where Is should be, etc. It's no big deal, just my personal preference. No offense to anyone if it's your choice!!
I totally wish I hadn't used Adelaide for a middle name so I could've used it for a first name for 2nd DD (NN: Addy.) So cute!
Ya, I thought of Adelaide for a first name but I already had my heart set on Kennedy. Also, DH's great great grandmother was Adelaide with the same last name. Geneologists would hate us!
I once asked to spell my name. I was in dis-belief!
My husband and I had autumn picked out for awhile now. I think it's cute :) I already know a girl named summer.
Yes, it's definitely cute!!!!

I had to be 'ok' with the fact that it might happen and if DD doesn't mind then I need to be ok with it. The nickname we though of before she was born was 'Kenna' which I thought was cute. We called her 'K' before she was born as no one knew her name...and that has sort of stuck. Also, as she learned to talk she called herself 'Dee' so that is also a nickname. The funny thing is we never even considered 'Dee' but it's cute!
Nicknames for Marshall? No idea. LOL
Hmm, if we have a boy he'll likely be Lewis after my grandpa. Girls we are completely up in the air. I like Iris, Aria, Alice, Claire... I have a big list.
Mel, DS2 would probably be Ainsley if he had come out a girl. We waited until birth to find out and I actually thought he was a girl but nope! ;)
DH and I are kind of laid back about names or just like to pick once the baby is here. We didn't have any names picked before the arrival of either of our kiddos. I hadn't even considered DS2's name before he was born. I had a list of about 5 to 8 possibles. I told them before to DH but he had no input so in the hospital after DS2 was born I gave DH the list and he didn't like any of them. So he says how about Ryne and that was just THE name. I loved it instantly. So he is Ryne James. DH swears he mentioned it earlier and I said no...I do not recall this. :p
BTW my oldest is Colin Scott. Colin was a name my MIL wanted to use for my DH but FIL didn't like it. DH always liked it after he was told that story and so kept pushing for it throughout the pregnancy. I didn't want to agree to anything until I had looked at all my options and I'm a procrastinator. DS ended up coming 6.5 weeks early, before we came to an agreement on any names. So DH teases me that I hated it b/c I wouldn't agree to use it through all his pestering but then went with it after DS1 was born. Scott is DH's middle name.
We have lots of trouble picking boy names. There seem to be a ton of girl names DH and I can agree on but boy names not so much. And so we have boys.
We have had a girl name picked out since DS1. Avery Faith maybe for a girl. I like Oliver for a boy. I hate going through names with DH he shoots everything down lol. DS1 is Brendan Andrew I wasn't in love with the name but dh would not agree to any of my names and we didnt have a middle name picked out yet so as I was getting drugged up and rolled into the ER he says what about Andrew (which is his middle name) wish I didnt go there either lol So now I make sure I bug him til we both love a name. DS2 is Reilley Garrett.
We've never discussed girl names and we're running out of boy names! DH and I haven't really discussed it, but my two older boys have already given us opinions (they really want another baby). So far we have 3 boys: Raymond, Alex, Oliver.
DS1 (almost 5) says Zachary for boy or Eva for girl
DS2 (3 years) says Thomas for boy or Rosie for girl.
