Thread: I'm crazy to be doing this so early - talk Baby Names with me?

We know a few Mitchells. I still like Marshall...it's not like Eminem actually goes by it, right?

He sometimes goes by it. Why does that matter? There are always going to be other people with the name...plus Eminem is pretty freaking talented

But fast forward 12 years when your LO actually cares about his name, do you think Eminem will still be around? Likely not. You've got to remember that celebrities are generational and very few tend to carry from one to the next. Like if I met someone named Danny when I was little, I wouldn't have thought "Oh that's a definite Grease reference" because I didn't know what it was.

You really can't let one random person with the same name ruin a name for you because there's always someone annoying w/the same name. We considered naming our first Paris so I've put a lot of thought into the subject - haha

Yeah, you never know what name will get the annoying celebrity when the kids are older. I felt bad for the 2 or 3 girls named Brittany I knew in high school (late 90s), but it's not like their parents could have predicted anything.

LMAO, my friend's daughter is Paris. I LOVED the name back in the early 2000s and she had her daughter in 2001 I told her I was ok with her using it. Anyways, ya, the whole Paris Hilton thing happened a while later.

I'm just not really into rap...but yes, I won't let that ruin the name for me.
