I'm Freezing

Anyone else not the typical "hot" pregnant lady and cold like me? I literally haven't been comfortably warm 95% of the last 5 months. I live in socks, pants, and sweatshirts indoors. I'm so ready for warmer weather!

Well, I'm normally really cold...so when I'm pregnant I'm just normal I think. Blum 3

I'm sweating. Actually, it's really funny. I've been keeping the house pretty chilly because I'm sweating so much. All my siblings/spouses/kiddos came to spend the weekend (we live in different states). They were all freezing while I was drenched in sweat.

Add me to the freezing all the time club! I'm constantly wearing thermal socks and leg warmers. I frequently wear a scarf around the house. And I cannot seem to figure out enough layers to wear outside to be out for anything longer than running into a store etc. We took DD skating outdoors a little while back, and I wore 3 more layers than DH, and he was sweating, and I couldn't get warm!

I'm normally cold, but it seems way worse than normal. I'm usually a "normal" temperature preggo if I remember correctly - I recall DH telling me how my feet weren't ice cubes like normal last pregnancy. I'm definitely not a sweating pregnant lady because I had my DD in August and DS in July and neither time seemed any different than regular summer to me. It doesn't help that it's been so cold here but still, it's not that cold inside my house. My kids run around half naked if they can get away with it so it can't be too bad!

COLD in Arizona? LOL, so cute! Blum 3 I know you acclimatize to new areas...but I think I'd be dying from the heat if I lived there...

I was in Phoenix in August a few years ago and I nearly died. I don't do well with heat.

I am really weird when it comes to temperatures. I do get the pregnant woman overheating thing, but I am freezing a lot too. I have always just had weird body temp swings!

Actually it's New Mexico... and it really is quite a bit different here (in the east mountains - so high elevation) then somewhere like Phoenix. The summers do get in the 90's, but the humidity is so low, that if you're in the shade, it's no big deal - direct sun can be brutal though. Last winter we had a few nights go down to 20 below zero, so we do get cold. This winter hasn't been that bad!! We have been mostly above freezing during the day for both December and January. The summer I was pregnant in MI was definitely worse then the summer I was pregnant in NM simply because of the humidity!!

I was born in Pheonix...maybe that's why I'm always cold unless it's like 90+ degrees Wink

I'm freezing... all the time!! I hate it. I mean luckily it hasn't been as cold here in Vegas as it has the rest of the country. But, I have my house set at 74 degrees, and I'm always in long sleeves and extra sweaters.
