It's a punching bag!!

Oh no...wait, that's my cervix.

Baby is literally stopping me in my tracks with cervix punches tonight sending shock waves of pain through my entire body, but especially the groin area. DS1 did this too, but I swear not this early on. Come on baby, not cool!

Oh man! That sounds terrible! I've been saying some not-so-kind words to my uterus occupant too. During dinner he/she did something that caused me to double over in pain for a split second...a couple times in a row.

So not cool. This kid is a freaking ninja, too. DH was wondering why I kept wincing last night as we lay in bed....uhhh....cause someone is using my innards as a bouncy castle. The end.

Sometimes when baby gets in a bad spot I gently rub/stroke my belly is hopes he/she will wiggle to a different spot. Sometimes I think it helps!

I sometimes do it not so gently! Baby likes his bum pressed HARD against my ribs so I'll kind of prod at him until he scoots down and gives me half an inch to breathe. Silly babies.

Ok, perhaps I was being a bit generous when I said 'gently'. If it really hurts, I'll push. I'm fairly sure they have a LOT of room in there right now. Sometimes I can feel a LOT of baby, sometimes my tummy is a big mush ball. Hard to believe it can have that much room.

LOL, I am not gentle about the prodding! Most often I find myself pushing little feet or knees out of my ribs and hips.

I've read that a bag of frozen peas is fantastic for encouraging baby to move from a painful spot. Specifically for getting them to flip head down but even just for prodding. Smile

Never heard of that - I will give this a try!

Kia: I prod at baby for my own entertainment too. I figure I'm growing him, I can poke him if I want Wink My DH made me ask my doc when I was pregnant with my first if I was hurting her and his answer was basically I'm going to hurt myself long before I hurt the baby with how much cushion they have.

LOL, you might not hurt him but you might make him neurotic. Blum 3 Just teasing!

I read the other day that baby can now feel hot and cold so the peas would probably work. I haven't had much rib troubles yet, thankfully!
