So the last week or so, my breasts have gone from just growing much larger to now feeling very "solid" exactly like when they start filling with milk...!? I don't remember this happening nearly this soon last time. It's not like they're engorged but there's definitely more "to them" than a few weeks ago. Anyone else??
Mine have been solid on and off for a while now...but I haven't noticed any milk-type things going on. I thought the firmness was just hormonal. They seem softer now but they definitely go through times of being very firm. Weird, right?
I really don't want to deal with the milk stuff until at least May..ok? :P
Totally varies from one woman to the next. Some women start producing milk even before they get a positive pregnancy test, so at implantation basically! Other women notice no signs of any sort of milk until the baby latches on after birth and starts drinking.![]()
Man, I wish.
After I stopped nursing DS (which was about 1 week after we conceived this baby) my boobs SHRUNK SO SMALL. They have never been this small, even after nursing my other babies. It seems he just completely depleted them.
And they have yet to plump up again. Usually during pregnancy I have to wear a maternity bra and my boobs get at least a cup size bigger. NOTHING this time. No solid feeling here! They are like soggy washcloths. It's very sad. Poor DH is appalled.
LOL, oh Sandra, I can only imagine what mine will look like when I'm done!
I'm still nursing too, so yeah, I'm making milk. I do have a "problem" of sorts though... somehow I got in the habit of nursing more on the right side, it was just very gradual over time, and now - well, the right side is easily a full cup size bigger than my left! I'm really hoping I can "straighten things out" when my milk comes in fresh for the new baby!!!
I'm with Heather; somedays they are quite solid feeling but not feeling milk production type stuff. I have never leaked prior to baby's arrival either. Except for like a drop of colustrum at 9 or 10 DPO and then nothing else during pregnancy. I'm sure when I get done nursing this little one they'll be totally sad.![]()
