Minor Whining

Anyone want to whine with me? Smile

I have a constant ringing in my ears that's been around for almost a week. It's very faint but it makes certain sounds unbearable. I remember having this in my last pregnancy too for a while. So annoying.

Also, I normally have a pretty strong bladder but the last 2 weeks (I'm guessing since baby turned head down) I get a major urge to pee and then have hardly anything in my bladder. And I feel like I need to adjust my posture to empty it. Lovely.

My ribs are killing me. You know, in that lovely pregnancy-induced way, right side, just under the breast. KILLING ME. Baby is getting so freaking big.

My ribs are better now at she is staying head down but my hips hurt. O and the bladder emptying thing, I go all the time and just rock back and forth and lift her up to make sure i get my money's worth from each trip lol.

My bladder is my problem. DD was breech a LOT and I never had the bladder problems I'm having this time. I swear I'm constantly leaking urine and I feel like I desperately have to go pee but like 2 drops come out. I decided it was full time panty liner time starting yesterday. Sad

I really can't complain, I'm just glad this little sucker is head down so I might have a CHANCE at a VBAC. I definitely had more rib pain with DD but that could still be coming.

One quick question for all you experienced moms...I squatted yesterday in an attempt to shave 'down there' and noticed a lot of pressure...and when I touched around my crotch area it felt puffy. Like baby's head was putting pressure and miss-shaping the area. Does that make sense? Is that what it was? My daughter never really sat on my cervix with her head I don't think!

Common for your lady parts to be a bit swollen, I'm pretty sure. If baby is low, certainly more of a chance, I guess.

I love whining, lol!

I feel you on the bladder issue. I pee all the time, but just little bits (oh, except at night which apparently I turn into a race horse the amount I can pee)

She seems really, really low today and either its a leg or an arm but it feels like she is not in my uterus and going to come out of my vagina and wave hello!

When I have a Bm that happens to me. I can still lift her from it by her shoulders tho so that helps lol.

Heather: I agree with Sandra - totally normal. I feel a bit puffier down there than normal, and some days are way worse than others like my muscles are literally being pressed outwards. So cute, right? lol

I was at a "family dance" at our church with my kids a couple weekends ago. My DD kept asking me to dance with her.....

I leaned over and confided in DH "I'd love to get up and dance, if I wasn't afraid my uterus would fall out my vagina."

So true!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm definitely feeling the urge to pee more frequently. Thankfully not much in the way of leakage - just a couple drops if I have a big sneeze or something. The rib pain hasn't started yet either. That is typically right around 32-33 weeks for me, so I know it's coming. Oh, and the swollen lady parts - yeah, that's completely normal. I have a little bit of that going on too. Oh, and who can still see to shave down there? I can still manage pretty good, but in another week or two I will be blind shaving for sure.

Yeah, I'm feeling a bit swollen down there too. I think this baby has spent the entire pregnancy in positions my DS's never were. It feels so different, my belly is a different shape this time...nothing major but I can see a difference. I feel like I'm behind all of you...not even 27 wks yet and I don't really have too many consistent pains. It's also weird this time in that I go back and forth b/w feeling huge and uncomfy and not feeling big at all. I guess it's b/c she seems to change position more where both my boys got head down and camped out on my left side with feet up and over to the right. Today I'm having a small day but last night in choir practice at church I couldn't breath and felt huge.

ETA: Oh yeah...the leakage! I have no bladder control and am also still coughing a lot since getting over a cold. I wouldn't even feel safe trying to get by with just a panty liner. It has gotten better as my cough has improved but every time I think maybe I can scale back the protection I have major leakage that makes me think again. If a cough catches me off guard then it can get ugly!

I wasn't REALLY seeing to shave....just making a terrible attempt at keeping things under control. I have a beard trimmer with a spacer that I use to keep the forest under control.

My lady bits are aching right now...they must have heard our conversation...
