Looks like I am an odd duck. I go au natural, with an occasional trim of any wayward long bits. I can't even fathom the itchiness I would get from shaving EVERYTHING. Ugh. Makes me shudder.
Heather: too funny
Karen: for sure external if they want you to have a full bladder. My doc only does internal if absolutely necessary, but he has a really nice machine so maybe that makes a difference? Sorry about having to drink so much! My girlfriends have had to do that, I haven't ever been told to.
Lauren: I do the same - shave EVERYTHING. Just a personal thing, I hate body hair and would seriously have it removed from my neck down if it didn't cost so much $$. Anyway, I haven't had a problem keeping things groomed even at the end of my last pregnancy; I can't really SEE what I'm doing, but I do it so often that I don't really need to. I'm just extra careful and take my time. You girls that get your DH's to help you out with shaving, kuddos. I would rather grow Amazonian than trust my DH with a blade in that area!
I'm an au natural lady too. Shaving or trimming sounds like way too much trouble and also I just don't see the point. Maybe I'm just used to it but DH has never complained and I don't think things are unruly. Perhaps I should ask my doc...he sees a lot of variety.
Ya, I'm really lazy with hair removal. I probably curse about body hair more than I actually remove it. I do my armpits the most...legs a close second. I really only trim the bikini line before I go swimming! LOL...but the rest of the hair I trim every month or two...when it gets annoying. It can be a bit unruly. :P
