My turn for a super score!

I'm about to go out the door to pick this up!

Little Tikes Town Center?|?Meijer.com

Similar to this one I think...
Little Tikes Endless Adventures Tikes Town Playhouse - Little Tikes - Toys "R" Us

Anyway, someone is selling it for $35 on Craigslist!! Smile

And we should still have money left over to buy a climber... just need to find a good deal on that now!!

Hey, I'm willing to put in a little elbow grease for FREE!! Smile Has K had a chance to play on it yet? I'm sure mine will need a little scrubbing down... and I need to buy new screws for it, but everything else is 100% there, and should be in good shape. Smile

No, she hasn't played on it yet. She has been much more patient than I expected on this one. We didn't have the slides up so I think that helped her not be too anxious. She LOVES slides. She's at daycare so I sprayed it off this morning. Thankfully the sun came out (very rare this time of year for us!) and it's drying off. It's all ready to go for when she comes home from daycare! This just means I will be doing some work tonight after she goes to bed to make up for my time spraying...but totally worth it to get it done.

We could have ordered a new hardware pack (screws) for our structure from Little Tikes had we needed to drill the screws out and take it apart to get over the fence. I'm SO glad we didn't need to though! PHEW!

Make sure you let us know how it goes. It's so nice to be able to get more outdoor play toys for the kids at a good deal. They really go fast around here when they are priced right. Most of the stuff we have outside we got for free...including our wooden swing-set. It needed new i bolts to hang the swings on but it's great otherwise. FREE! I'm a super good CL shopper. Blum 3

Well, I got the screws that I needed at the local hardware store for $2. I went to the Little tykes site and they had a "hardware package" that included all the screws and just a few more items for $70!! No thank you! Anyway, all the decals were still attached, but starting to peal at the edges from sun damage. I just went ahead an pealed them all off, and then I ordered a new "decal package" from Little tykes for $7 (free shipping too!). It's a little faded from the sun, but that's all. A little scrubbing was all it needed and it snapped together great. Smile I have a feeling once we get the new decals on it, it will almost look as good as new.

AWESOME! That sounds really great! I LOVE free shipping. I ordered a new Cozy Coupe steering wheel from them last summer and they had free shipping on that too, even to Canada! LOVE! I'm currently looking for parts for an Evenflo exersaucer and they want $15 shipping to Canada ($6 to the US). How annoying!

Have the kids seen the house yet? Were they excited?

K saw the play structure last night and was excited. She went down the BIG slide and fell off the end. LOL. It went fast. She giggled as she loves going fast. Then her hands got cold and she wanted to come inside. It was late and she'd been outside almost all day at daycare. Hopefully she can have some time on it this weekend. My favorite part about it is it doesn't need adult help. Blum 3

The kids helped me wipe it all down. Then we took a trip to the hardware store. After we got home again, they helped me put it together... I actually NEEDED their help too. When I was putting some of the screws in, my two older ones had to hold it in various places or it would fall before I could get the screws in! Anyway, we got it done. The kids played outside for a little over an hour with it. They ALL love it. It's just about the biggest "structure" that Little Tykes sells so even my 8 year old can fit in it pretty good. And of course since the sides come out that makes it even easier for everyone to play. I like that all the "fun stuff" is spread around the entire thing, so there is plenty to play with for all of them. There is a basketball hoop and a soccer/hockey net on the back. There is a little store out one side with a fridge and sink on the inside. The opposite side has a gas pump on the outside and then a little "fix it" store on the inside. The front looks like a "town hall." SOOO much fun. They would have played longer, but today is actually pretty cold and overcast, so they were ready to come in.

I'm glad K seems to like her new "toy." Very nice that it doesn't require much parental help too. Wink I like that about mine as well!!
