    Default New Pain

Lucky me has a new pain to deal with. It started late Tuesday and it pretty much means I can't stand up without excruciating pain on my lady bits. Sitting hurts too. I can't even stand long enough to change M 's diaper. It feels muscular and the only thing that takes the edge off is an ice pack. Why is this happening TWO weeks later? I finally have energy and was going to take a short trip to the store this week, but that's not happening now. Thoughts?

    This is seriously depressing.

I remember with the last two, after a few weeks the pain got really bad. Like it got much worse before it got better. I went to the doctor because I thought it must be infected but it wasn't. But that's nothing to mess around with so I'd get it checked just in case.

I had a new pain start too! Mines slightly different...I told DH its almost like a kidney stone? When I stand up (or am already standing) I get a feeling like Im going to pee something out (I cant think of another way to describe it). after a min or two it goes away.
I hope you get some relief soon! Esp so you can get out and not be going crazy stuck at home!

So the midwife was here today. She checked my lady bits and said all looked good. The episiotomy is healing fine, no visible infection. She figures it's just muscle trauma and that I should just take it easy, do my kegels and wait it out. Oh joy...

I spent all day in bed today resting as DD was in daycare. I came downstairs before the midwife came...I've been down here sitting for 3 hours and I'm not in much pain! YES! I'm sure the pain is still coming...

I'm glad you got it all checked out.

I hate that you are having such a rough recovery. I hope things start really falling into place soon.

I remember the nurse suggesting I spray a pad with water and put it in the freezer to help with the pain.

good idea with the pad! My hospital put ice into a diaper and that was the ice pack. worked wonderful and as it melted you stayed dry!
