Last night was uneventful thank goodness. (After we got home) Woke up extremely uncomfortable with bad cramps and very tight feeling/ hard to breath and dizzy. Tylenol and bath did nothing to help. Told the doc all this so she did the normal check stuff, an ultrasound, and checked my cervix. I didn't gain or loose weight at all, bp was good, heartbeat was 144. From the ultrasound I have enough fluid, the cervix is long, she is still a but behind but placenta didn't get any worse, she is estimated at 1 lb 9 oz. She is head down now and her foot is in my rib, OB thinks that could be why I woke up so crampy bc she was breech last night. The check of my cervix resulted that it was high, firm, and irritated.
As far as stoping the Braxton hicks and cramps we talked about using meds but the side effects aren't worth it at this point with her looking so good today. I still am on STRICT bed rest and will see hr every two weeks while promising to inform her of any change, bleeding, symptom etc. We also talked about my concern of not feeling her move and it being too late and she reassured me that if I start feeling a decrease in movement and lay on my side after eating and drinking with no increase in movement we have several hours to act.
I forgot to ask about the next shots so am waiting for her to get back to me on that. Next goal is Saturday for me. 25 weeks.
I'm sure this uncertain waiting game is beyond frustrating for you! I'm so glad she's staying put for now though, and that things are going well still.
