My DD is obsessed with sharks...so I ordered her a shark costume online. She hasn't seen it yet because I was worried she'd want to wear it EVERY single day. Well, she has now decided she wants to be a cat (like halloween Dora). GAH! I'm waiting for the cat thing to blow over before I bring the shark costume out.
DH is going to be Indiana Jones and I was going to make myself a carebear costume...if the sleepies of the first trimester don't hit me. That being said, we haven't even been invited to the annual halloween party we normally go to...so ???
Last year we took DD trick-or-treating at the local shopping mall. She really started to get the whole process and loved running to the shops. Well, she didn't eat candy at all last year. I offered her various things but they all got spit out. The only thing she liked was plain chips. In the last year she has discovered chocolate...we're in TROUBLE!
Do any of you do the thing where they can eat all the candy they want the day of Halloween but then they leave it out at night for the fairy who takes it all and replaces it with a small toy? DH and I are thinking of doing that....
Sounds like cute costumes girls!!
Heather - we did the pick one item per day for about a week while I slowly emptied it out to take to work so they didn't notice! LOL
DS is going to be Spiderman and DD will be an Owl.

I love the candy ideas! esp the fairy one! one of our local dentist offices pays you for your candy--per pound. (I can't remember how much. the sign should be goig up soon)! then they send all of the candy that comes in to the troops. DS is going to be a monkey. bought the costume on sale already. HE is insisting mommy is going to be a monkey and Daddy is going to be a banana!![]()
