HA HA HA HA! You're so right little-miss-worry-wart. :P
I realized I've been eating a lot of cake lately and having empty calorie drinks such as juice and pop. I should really ease up on that.

I eat dreadfully. I am a carboholic :)
With my first two kids I gained over 50 lbs each time. 3rd time I only gained 30-35. Hoping for 35 again this time! Anything is better than 50 lbs, even though I managed to get it off after.
I'm pretty sure I'll be in the 40 club at least. I mean, how can I not be? Baby is growing so much right now. I've been STARVING the last couple days. :(
I just want to stay under 200 lbs this time....please?
The second tri is notoriously the worst gain one too because we don't feel sick anymore, baby is trying to put on fat, and s/he isn't so big that we don't feel like eating. I bet you stay easily under 200 if you still have 24 lbs to go! Especially since you have a toddler to keep you on your feet your third tri.
FWIW, I've cut my soda intake down to almost nothing and my weight gain has just kept climbing and laughing in my face! :bangheaddesk:
HA HA HA! Ok, perhaps I shouldn't laugh, but it's almost the story of my life! My sweet hubby has been making me virgin pina coladas a lot lately. He uses the 'just add alcohol' mix from the grocery store but doesn't add alcohol. it is SO good but probably not something I should have every day. Also, I had my birthday cake cut into pieces and frozen in my freezer...and ice cream. I'm sure none of that has helped. :P
Virgin Pina Coladas almost sound good if they weren't frozen. I'm too cold for iced drinks. Actually I'm drinking coffee right now - decaf but hot. We're talking about possibly taking a trip to Mexico in April and if that does happen, I will definitely put on some sin alcohol blended beverage weight!!
ANYWAY...between Valentine's and DH's birthday, I have enough bad food to go around too. I've started throwing some away to keep it away from me.
Mexico in April? Aren't you worried about travelling cross border in your 3rd trimester? Eeeeeks!
As long as things continue to run smoothly, I'm not too worried about it. Both of my other two have been induced past my EDD and I haven't progress a bit on my own. That being said, we haven't booked anything yet so I'll be chatting with my OB about his opinion on the matter before anything is set in stone. Mine and baby's health are most important obviously.
ETA: Weren't you supposed to travel to the US in your third tri and then changed it (or something along those lines)? Now you've got my brain running on this. The only thing I was thinking was that I'm not supposed to travel past 36 weeks but didn't consider that going to another country, especially one I do NOT want to have a baby in, might be different.
We're going to the US when I'm 26 weeks for a holiday. There is a work conference in Vegas when I'm 34 weeks but I'm doubting they'll send me. :(
Well I'm up about 12 from pre-pg, but I lost 5 in the first tri, so I guess that puts me up 17. A little more than last time I think since I only got back up to my pre-pgn at 20 weeks last time. With DD I gained 33 (net 27) so I'm hoping I don't go more than that this time. I also got back to pre-pgn weight in 2 weeks, and then dipped below afterwards. I started this one about 7-8 pounds lighter, and I'd like to go back there. DH thinks I'm on track for the same weight gain as last time. My midwife doesn't even weigh me, last time she just asked me if I'm monitoring my weight. I'll have my next appointment tomorrow, so maybe I'll measure myself on her scale since mine is not very accurate most of the time.
