    Question OPK Question

So this is my second month using Opk's and I am a little confused. Last months results were perfect. Everyday my lines on my opk would get a little darker until I got a blazing positive when I ovulated. This month my lines would get a little darker, then they would be just barely there then the next day it would be *almost* positive and then my next test would be barely there. What does that mean? I know I am not missing my surge because I test twice a day. Any thoughts?

I think it's just normal variation of LH in your system. OPK's don't always have the nice fade in but can still be normal...just another way our bodies like to mess with us.

I rarely get a nice fade in with OPKS. I get some that look like it's building up and then they'll disappear again. Actually happened this cycle & then we went OOT and I didn't take OPKs so I never saw my +. Anyway, when I've finally gotten my + in the past, sometimes it'll be random after an almost white test line the day before. So just keep using them...doing them 2x a day, you ought to catch that +. If it starts to get pretty close, I'd just get BDing anyway. When did you O last month (what CD?)

Thanks for your answers ladies! It makes me feel a lot better because I was worrying I wasn't going to O at all or something.

Ashley, last month I O'd on CD 13. But, I have O'd anywhere from 15 to 20 before too. My cycle is pretty unpredictable, but luckily I always know when I am going to get AF because I have a 15 day LP.

I'm the same way Michelle; O time is all over the place but I have a 12 day LP. I may not know when to expect O but once I can pinpoint an O day I know when to expect the witch.
