Thread: Ouch!!!!

I just need to whine!! My left ear is killing me! I'm pretty sure it's infected, but I can't go to the Dr because I have all of the daycare kids here. It's miserable!! Hopefully I can go tonight or tomorrow.

I used to get horrible ear infections. Sweet oil, slightly warmed up soothed it. Also, putting my ear over a warm steam felt good too.

Ow! No fun. It is hard to look after a bunch of kids when you aren't functioning 100%.

I hope you were able to see a doctor!! That is rough. Any chance you are still breastfeeding? Breast milk in the ears can clear it up, if it's not too bad.

Thanks again everyone! I did go to the Dr last night, but he couldn't tell what was wrong. He did give me some pain drops and I'm taking sudafed today because he said it could be sinus pressure. It's weird that it hurts so bad and he could see nothing wrong!!

Laurie, I stopped breastfeeding about two months ago. I dried up and my nipples were so sore I decided it was time, but we made it to 21 months which I'm pretty proud of!

Wow, the doc couldn't see anything! I'm guessing he checked your sinuses for a sinus infection as well?!?

Congrats on the breastfeeding. My milk is drying up too... I wish my little man would take the hint and stop using me as a pacifier all night!! I don't mind the occasional nursing session still, but the all night long thing is getting a little painful. My others were getting the hint by this point, but my little man is stubborn.
