Eek! That looks really uncomfortable. Is your doctor concerned?

Sad that sucks. Is there nothing you can do for it?

I haven't called yet, the only "cure or treatment" is having the baby. Same as with elora, I got this then the next apt found out I had toxemia pre e. I'm honestly not wanting to go in tho, I have a bday apt at 11! I don't wanna miss it

I'm sorry... I guess if you feel well enough to keep on getting around I would go to the bday thing, and then call the doc. Don't mess around too much though. If you start feeling really bad, be sure to call the doc!

Don't some people just swell up when they're pregnant? I thought it was fairly common and not always a big deal.

It can be no big deal, but if there is a sudden change and can signal that something else is going on (like pre-e).

Yah with the blurred vision and headaches I'm pretty sure I'm heading there again. The edema was overnight and staying now, so they are watching it.

I was swollen like that my last week and half of pregnancy with my first baby and it was pre-e related we found out. But if it's reassuring at all, one of my best friends started swelling to that point at the beginning of her third tri for no reason other than her body wanted to retain water and it lasted until after she had her baby, but she had zero blood pressure problems or anything else concerning. So you never know.

But yikes, sorry Kia! I remember how uncomfortable that was Sad

I'm sure all they can do is watch it and weigh the risks/benefits of remaining pregnant. On the plus side, I got my bday cut color highlight and mani today! Now pedi wed!

:woohoo: I got my hair cut and colored this week too. I like to try to squeeze it in before my EDD so I at least have decent hair when I feel like crap after having baby Wink Jealous of your pedi coming up!

Woo hoo for some beauty-time!

I got my bangs trimmed this week so that I won't have to do it til July sometime. I usually get a pedi around 37 weeks but haven't even thought about that this time....I managed to pain my own toes about 2 weeks ago!

I was pretty pleased to be able to cut my toe nails, let alone paint them! Blum 3

I just got my hair cut/highlighted too! And we went to a wedding today, so I did my toenails...I'm too cheap to go have them done.

I swelled really bad with my first pregnancy but this one hasn't really had too much swelling. I am just starting to get a little swelling. And my first pregnancy wasn't pre-e or anything. So I'm hoping this pregnancy is different for you too and it is just swelling!
