Thread: Please pray tomorrow!

I know I ahve been asking a lot lately BUT please pray for our schools tomorrow! there have been rumors across the country of people planning violence for tomorrow. I know it is every where, but I know specifically there have been rumors (being treated as threats) in our county and some specifically targeting the high school I attended and the elementary school I work at. we had a TON of police in our school today and I am sure that we will again tomorrow. Tomorrow AFTER school we plan to review our drills/code red locations (this has been the plan all week), and I pray that the rumors are just rumors. I just know htat today everyone (Students included who are hearing rumors from older siblings) was on edge. so please tomorrow pray for our safety..and that of any school employees/ students across the country attending school tomorrow.

You guys and everyone else will be in my Ts and Ps!! So ridiculous we need to be worried about the idiots out there

Do you think maybe things are worse tomorrow because there are those "end of the world" folks out there who think tomorrow is it?!?! Or is this more related to recent events?

In either case... this is just plain sad... I'm glad I don't have kids in school, because I honestly don't think I'd want to send them tomorrow! But apparently, we could probably just as easily be shot by going to the mall or the movie theater, and we have a way higher chance of dieing in a car crash. I guess what's hard about all these mass shootings lately is that they aren't random. Someone is purposely out there trying to kill people. Where as, something like a car crash is random. So sad...

its a combination I think. We have one threat that a boy's ex girlfriend goes to the high school so he's going to go shoot it up "because its the end of hte world anyway" it is scary and I have had a lot of parents asking me if they should send their kids. its a hard call. to be honest I'd MUCH rather be home iwth my son tomorrow than to be in school away from him. BUT i have to go because if we run scared everytime there's a rumor, we'd never be in school! we will jsut continue to pray before the kids get there like we do every other day.

This is so sad. I will be praying for everyone. Im kind of glad we are in the midst of this snowstorm because all of Wisconsin is closed tomorrow. IT is just sad that people would spread these rumors, and/or plan something like this. Im so sorry you have to deal with this
