Pubic Bone Pressure

I stood up from my work chair to go up to make lunch and OUCHIES! My pubic bone sure was in pain. The pain was the front center. Could it have been that gap opening? It felt like there was back-pressure on that spot. Could baby's head have been pushing on it? It really hurt to even walk but has eased up a bit.

Earlier when baby was wiggling I felt some good downward pressure too...so perhaps it's really low??? I don't know. My midwife appt is in 2.5 hours so I guess we'll see.

I'm no expert but I'd say it could be any of those things you listed since baby could cause it or your body could just be trying to prepare. Hopefully baby is dropping down! FWIW, I've never had pain in the center of my pelvis (just everywhere else ;)) and none of my babies have ever completely dropped until labor w/epidural in place so I'd lean towards that suggestion. GL at your midwife appointment, KUP!

I'm hoping she says baby is LOWER yet again.

I think I'm in denial about the whole birth thing...which is why I'm less scared than last time (which ended up being a planned c-section). I haven't even packed my hospital bag yet. The bag is out...I made a pile of nursing tops and washed my nursing bras...but that's it. Yup, I'm in denial...

My due date is in 2 days and I haven't packed a hospital bag either. LOL.

Curious to see how your appt goes!

I just said the same thing to Jon! My body is saying move it, I'm not waiting much longer. My brain is saying I have all the time in the world. Result: baby has nowhere to sleep and my bag is not packed. Technically I have five weeks so it isn't bad but I'm screwed if my intuition is correct. Ha!

LOL, We have the bassinet set up. That's something...

I just walked upstairs and the pain is still there. Ugh.

I have a few things packed, but I always throw stuff in as I walk out the door. The reality is that MOST of the time (not in Leah's case, lol) you will have time to pack your bag and what not before you head out the door!

As for the pain you had... not really sure. I can't wait to hear how your appointment goes though! Smile

I know! Leah's case sort of freaked me out. How would my mom ever get here to watch K that quickly? I can't wait to hear her birth story!

One of my mom friends just moved and lives 2 blocks from us now. She volunteered to be back-up if my mom can't get here in time so if I'm another 'Leah' that will be useful.

So I told the chiropractor about the pain. You know what that means? He was feelin' up my pubis. LMAO. Ok, I'll do that if it makes it hurt less! Anyways, he did some extra adjustments on my pubic bone and used some little popper tool to hit the bone...I'm not sure what that does, but it still doesn't feel great. Ahhhh well, I just have to sit more I guess. Blum 3

Sorry youre having discomfort...at least the chiro tried. Bummer it didn't seem to ease up though. Hopefully the sweet relief of delivery will come soon. Smile

I'm still trying to be optimistic about it going away soon. Biggrin
