Ok, as a first timer I am soooo glad to read this thread. I have not bought any "maternity panties" nor could I see the need. I am still wearing, and plan to continue wearing my hipsters throughout. DH would just die laughing if he saw me strutting around in those things! LMAO

YES! Low rise undies will get you through! I had to buy all new undies after DD was born though as the pregnancy CM was brutal and totally ruined them all.

LOL. So funny. Why anyone would want those things pulled all the way up there is beyond me.

Oh Heather!! Those are seriously the funniest things ever! Actually, I was in Motherhood about a month ago and they had "maternity" bikini style underwear. Now what the difference is in those and regular bikini, I have no idea. And yes, pregnancy does do quite a work out on underwear. Usually when I'm about 2 months pp I go out and by fresh ones.

Not to mention if you can fit your PP behind into your regular underwear, you'll probably have to junk a few from the lovely PP bleeding anyway. Never been a prob for me though, my butt grows as much as my belly so I have to buy larger sized granny panties for those few bad PP weeks!

Since we're talking about undies, the ones that I have that aren't hipsters - I had to wear a pair today because all the others are in the washer/dryer. They're lacy- except for the underneath part...and they are so totally ruined. Pregnancy belly and lace do NOT mix...lol

Mine are starting to get worn out and holey anyway, so I definitely don't feel bad about ruining them during pregnancy! As for PP I just go to Wal-Mart and buy the cheapest pack of briefs I can find and use those, and throw them away when I get done making them look awful!
