What are some baby names you love but can't/won't use because of various reasons?

    Boys:
    Parker - cousin's name
Brock - sounds terrible with our last name AND DD's name
Jett - DH says no lol
Beckham - DH again, says no way are we naming a baby after someone I find attractive
Bennett - love this so much but have a bad association with "Ben" so won't use it

    Girls:
    Baylee - cousin's name

I'll come back and add if I think of more!

These are a few I can think of off the top of my head:

Lauren - LOVE the name but DH was engaged to a Lauren once
Florence - Love the name but met a couple that ruined it for me
Acacia - DD went to daycare with one who used to bite her and was a bit of a problem child
Olivia - too popular and we have a friend who used it
Sophia - same reason as Olivia

Cayden, Kaden, etc. - we loved this boy name when pg with DD but it's too popular now

All -er names are out because our last name ends in -er:
    Parker
    Harper
    Carter
    ....
    Heather, 37

    Kennedy - b. 01.26.10 after 15 cycles of TTC
    Marshall - b. 06.17.13 after 3 cycles of TTC

I love Kaden too but won't use it because of popularity and I hate that there are 100 different spellings and no "correct" one. And I was trying to sell DH on Harper for a girl but he went to HS with a guy named Harper so that's off the table. Boo!

Ya, we quite liked Kaden spelled like that but now that DD is Kennedy all K names are out. The 'aiden' style names are so overdone now. I love them but I like less popular names.

Harper is so cute though! Would be an odd boy name though. LOL

My niece is named Harper I like it.

DH really doesn't like "weird" names, and neither do I, but there are some that he considers weird that I like. When we had our first boy I was thinking of using Robin - he thinks it's NOT cool. I like Robin as a boys name but he would never use it.

And I'm still lamenting the fact that we can't use Ainsley now, since we're having a boy, and aren't planning on any more kids. I've been wanting to use Ainsley ever since 2007 after we had our DD.

I met an adult named Ainsley not too long ago and thought it was a cool name. But I think it's too close to my name to use for my own kid even if we do end up with a girl. I KWYM about having to forever lose a name, it's a bummer

Thought of two more. I think Madden is cute but have a BIL Matt and Madden would likely get called Maddy when he was little and it would be too confusing. And I've heard Bane on boys a few time recently (like the Batman villain) and love it but sounds horrible with our last name. DH would probably reject those anyway. :P
