What kind of cravings have you had recently?
The past few days I have been craving sour cream! Now I don't want to go eat it off of a spoon or anything, but if it will taste good with sour cream on it I will add a lot to it! Pre-pregnant I wasn't a huge sour cream fan, and I would always buy the fat free kind. But the fat free kind won't cut it now! I saw a commercial last night for Taco Bell and all I keep looking and thinking about was the sour cream, weird I know!
Something else I have been eating a lot of are pita chips. I love them anyways, but I don't normally buy them. I have been treating myself to them lately though!
Yum! I make my own pita chips. It was my go-to snack the last time I was pregnant. Especially cinnamon-sugar pita chips
Along the same trend, I bought some wanna-be brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal this week. I never buy sugary expensive cereal but I couldn't stop myself. It lasted....2 days.
I also constantly crave fast food.
The past week or so i cant eat enough! Im craving ice cream, burgers, and spicy foods!
Ummmm, I've had a couple boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch this pregnancy too. I'm not normally a cereal person AT ALL. It's funny. I actually had a bowl before bed last night.
I'm not sure there's anything I'm super craving right now...but there was something recently but now I can't remember. Pregnancy brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't really craved anything yet. With DD I craved milk and ice cream but this baby does not like milk which stinks cause I miss it lol
I've gone from being sick and wanting only random things to feeling better and craving almost everything edible to now almost nothing sounds good. Not like it makes me sick, but I have to force myself to eat unless it's candy (but that's normal for me). Hopefully my weight gain will mellow out for a few weeks because of it...Christmas + New Years put me up about 4 pounds! :eek: My body is probably just too full still! lol
At first I craved any kind of red meat; french dip sandwiches were my fave. Then, I started craving cold, crunchy salads. This week it has been watermelon. I just ate a heavenly bowl for breakfast!
At first it was dairy... and I generally avoid dairy other than yogurt. I have some unpleasant lactose issues. But I couldn't get enough of it for the first 6 or 7 weeks. I guess baby needed the calcium?
Now... nothing much really tastes good most days. Take out pizza always sounds good but the thought of homemade pizza makes my stomch turn (and usually I'm totally opposite--I would rather have homemade any day).
I even splurged and bought a bag of Spicy Nacho Doritos even though they weren't on sale because those are my favorite junk food. I ate two and they justdon't taste good. Sigh.
