Do you have fears or phobias? If so what?
I do, I would have to say that mine would be fear of heights. And I am afraid of being in deep water. I like water if I can touch the bottom, but if I can't, it terrifies me!
I don't like super high heights, especially when there is no guard rail. I'm not sure it's a true phobia though.
Social situations, being in a crowd of people I don't know, lol so many things its silly.
elevators. I can handle them when I have to but I hate them!
i also have a fear of deep water, i will freak out if my feet dont touch the water and heights
I have a few. I am afraid of heights, like even ladders scare me when I'm on them. I am also very afraid of spiders and centipedes.
I am also scared of mice! I do better with snakes and spiders...
Spiders and bees/wasps/etc.
Bummer for you guys with deep water phobias I LOVE scuba diving and going to the lake! Although I hate having my goggles on in our big lake here because the visibility is really poor so all of the sudden something will be *right there* in your face. Totally freaks me out.
yeah I'd be sad if I was scared of deep water. I LOVE the lake!
I do detest spiders.
heights and death in extreme/unlikely situations (I get anxiety when my imagination runs wild)
I'm kind of the same Noelle. My main fear/anxiety is based around getting sick or getting strange diseases. I'm especially afraid of food poisoning for some reason which causes me to have some issues with food.
I get very anxious in large social gathering, especially when I don't know anyone. I'm also VERY afraid of snakes, and it's worse since we moved down south where there's poisonous ones.
Spiders. Bugs in general. Yuck.
I also am a bit claustrophobic - poor DH doesn't get a lot of snuggles because I just want to flail my arms out when anyone gets too close!
used to have a fear of bees...but now that my new allergiest determined I am in fact NOT allergic...that fear has subsided..
small snakes creep me out and I get uneasy with really high heights and airports.. though I wouldnt say its a fear of airports just make me have anxiety/panic attacks!
Phobia: needles. (though Im getting better) it was determiend by my bio-psych professor that it is a flat out phobia and not a fear (he had fun with that too)
