Do you wear contacts or glasses? If so, do you know your prescription?

I wear contacts 95% of the time (glasses in the morning or late at night mostly) and I think my prescription is -2.75 for each. Not the worst vision ever but definitely couldn't drive w/o them. Hoping to get Lasik in the next couple years if possible.

I do not currently wear them, but I am pretty sure I could use them. My eyesight seems to be deteriorating pretty quickly but only in one eye, I was 20/20 about four years ago, last year I had an exam for work and one of my eyes is super wonky.

I don't wear either but I do own about 10 pairs of glasses with plain lenses in them! I used to work in an optical dispensary for 3 years and I liked to advertise our product Wink

I have good vision. The last time I saw the optometrist she said if I ever had trouble driving at night I could come in and get some glasses because I have a teeny prescription. Doubt I will do that until I get old and need glasses to read.

I forgot, i have something called night blindness so at night without glasses I cant see unless there is a overhead light on lol. If there is a light im walking toward forget about it! Even with my glasses i have a hard time walking, driving with them is fine, without them driving at night would be scarry.

oh, as for contacts, I could NEVER do it! I have a fear of people touching their eyes. It freaks me out.

Nope, my sight is still good. Sort of weird since both my parents wear glasses...my mother since she was really young too. My brother has had reading glasses since we were kids and *may* wear them more now...I haven't seen him in 3.5 years so????

I wear glasses obviously. I think after I have baby, I may get contacts. I tried them when I was a teenager an it really bothered to tear them out. I think now I can handle it. I *believe* my prescription is -1.9 in one eye and -1.95 in the other. I do remember they are different, I am just not sure on the numbers.

I'm supposed to wear glasses to drive at night so I don't drive at night! Smile

I wear contacts and have since jr high. I probably needed corrective lenses even before that actually. I don't remember my exact prescription but my right eye is way worse than my left. Left is somewhere around -2.5 and right is around -5.5.

I use to wear contacts quite a bit. I hated glasses. Now I have a pair of glasses that I really like and I never wear contacts. Anyway, my vision is bad. -3.5 in one eye, and close to -5 in the other... My DH has 20/20 though, so there is hope for our kids!

Wink I think I'm the winner here! 5.5 on the left 7.5 on the right...that's contacts. Glasses are ridiculously thick, even when they've been thinned, so I stick with contacts and wear them most of the time. I think my kids have half a chance for good eyes, DH has perfect vision.
