I have not.
Since I have no idea when I will deliver or the weight of the baby, I'm holding off. Probably something simple and comfy though.
For DS I had one picked out and then he was 5 weeks early and my 0-3 month clothing hung on him. He went home in an shirt and socks. lol! I actually pulled it out just theother day as I was going through his stuff and seeing what we can use for this LO.
My boys are big, so I bring a NB and a 0-3 month outfit usually, since NB clothes only fit for about a week. I have bought something new for each boy Usually a cute little Carter's onesie and pants, or a sleeper, since I hate putting pants on them before their cords fall off.
I let my DD pick it out...I don't get too excited about coming home outfits but figured that would be fun for her. She picked this from the group I let her pick from:
I think it's pretty cute I'll probably use the onesie/pant/hat set to come home. The only thing I didn't like was the PJ's said "Grandpa's Best Friend" (I hate random sayings like that) but I just pulled the threads out with my seam ripper and now it's not there LOL
With my DD, she was born in the heat of August and I put her in a little sundress from Carters...then socks/gloves/a hat/blanket/etc. She looked like she was going out into a blizzard. Haha. With my DS, I had a cute little one piece for him to wear home, but as I was getting him ready, he peed ALL OVER IT so he wore some PJs home - luckily I took some sleepers for him to wear in the hospital because it feels more like "my baby" with his own clothes on rather than the white hospital shirt so I had backup.
We will bring baby home in one of the sweater sets I made before DD was born. These are them here:
I'm on the fence about using the SAME pink one if we have a girl or making a new one. Do you think DD will want to keep hers? Maybe I should make a second so she can keep hers?
Anyways, DD came home in a green sleeper and that pink outfit. I'll have to dig the sleeper out and use it again I think. The hats on my set ended up being MASSIVE on DD so we just used a hat MIL gave her. It went pretty well. Perhaps I should make a smaller version of the proper hat this time? This is DD coming home. Aweeeee
It might be too hot for all this in June (DD was born in January) but baby will at least have to wear it for a pic or two in the hospital. :P
