When you go on vacation, do you like to buy souvenirs?
im not a big souvenir person but my in laws are. they budges over a thousand for them every trip!
Ugh, no. I don't like useless junk. When I was younger I thought it was cool to bring something back, but not so much now. The only thing DH likes to bring back are the collector cups from whatever sporting event he went to (cause usually his trips coincide with a Bowl game, or something! Every blasted time we go to Arizona he bring back college football cups! LOL.)
I don't like knick knacks, and I don't really like clothing with place names on it, so I guess that would be a no
We normally get the kids a little something. DH is more into than I am though
Not typical souvenirs.
I like to collect sketches or watercolors.
I do but I try to buy things that actually serve a purpose. Like, when we go to Disney I buy a new piece of luggage and something for the kitchen (i got a mickey cookie cutter last time). When we go other places, I might buy a magnet or a small keychain. Or I'll buy a ride photo if we go to an amusement park. My kids usually get a set amount of money to spend freely. Lucas buys crap. Tori is very careful. It's fun to watch them.
I will often get a Christmas ornament. I love seeing them when setting up the tree...they make me smile. Sometimes I get a magnet. Nothing too big.
I'm really not into buying random trinkets. If I get something on a trip, it's usually something I saw to give someone else.
The one thing i did do was when i went to study in london i got a tshirt from every country I went to. I will be turning them into part of my memory quilt.
