I hate milk, always have (yes even as a toddler...I was one of those that went came off formula and never drank milk). I don't even like it in my cereal, but will drink it if it's in a smoothie or coffee or something along those lines. I've tried a few of the "other kinds" and am not crazy about them plain either. Luckily I get plenty of dairy elsewhere.
FWIW, both of my kids are milk fanatics and they go through about a gallon and a half a week.
I am picky about my milk, it has to be whole milk, if I am drinking it from a cup it taste better from a glass. Usually I eat cereal in the morning, so I get milk with that, and usually 3-5 random glasses of milk a week.
I love milk. I always have milk with my supper. Milk just "goes" with a hot meal for me. If I am having something warm for lunch, I like milk with it too.
And don't even get me started on chocolate milk
In our house, our kids drink milk with supper. They all like milk.....so far....
I like milk. I don't always drink it daily but it is my preferred drink with breakfast. At work I just drink a coffee with breakfast though. I also like to have a glass of milk with chocolate, cookies, brownies, cake, you get the idea I drank tons of chocolate milk with DS1, but haven't wanted it as much with subsequent pregnancies. It was one of the few drinks I actually wanted or enjoyed when pregnant with him...although it is not fun at all to throw up chocolate milk after it has been on your stomach for more than about 30 mins. (Isnt' that a lovely thought). I'm a little picky about my chocolate milk...I don't like it to have a really heavy chocolate taste so I make it with the syrup you add in and put just enough to turn it a light brown.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED milk as a kid - especially chocolate milk. I still love chocolate milk, but I only drink chocolate almond milk now. And I have milk in my coffee. I am probably a bit sensitive to dairy, too much milk doesn't feel so good, and I will stop dairy altogether when the babe is born and I'm nursing (which is making me binge on it now in anticipation). I did with DD too and stayed off for the most part (chocolate was the only exception) until this pregnancy and now I crave way too much dairy - but mostly cheese.
Now I drink chocolate almond milk, but I drink it straight from the container so that I can't see how much I really drink I know it's a lot though!
