What is your favorite soda (if you drink it)?

Dr Pepper is usually my soda of choice. I don't do diet sodas but I don't drink any soda very often anyway. I don't keep it in the house so only have it out to eat and usually I order water for health and budget reasons anyway. Sometimes though I just have to have a DP with my pizza or Mexican food. Smile

This is a tough question for me. Because my honest answer is Mt Dew.

However, my official answer is Coke. Definitely Coke.

Hubby works for Coca-Cola. So do many of my family members. So... There's a loyalty thing. But I like Mt Dew and Coke doesn't make anything that comes close. When they had Vault, I switched to that. But it was discontinued and Mello Yello went back in its place. Grossness.

You couldn't get me to drink a Pepsi for anything though. Yuck!

I rarely drink pop. (Yes, we call it pop, not soda here Smile )

I don't drink anything with caffeine in it though, so I usually stick to Sprite, 7 Up, and Mountain Dew (no caffeine in Canada). Occasionally I will have a caffeine free cola of some sort.

Depends on my mood. I love Mtn Dew Code Red, and Coca Cola sometimes Pepsi. I also really like Vess Blue Raspberry, and any kind of Cream Soda.

no caffeine in Mt. Dew??? In high school that was our equivalent of kids today drinking red bull and such. Wink

There used to be legislation in Canada that prohibited using caffeine in non-cola type soft drinks. Apparently that changed a few years ago, so they do sell Mt. Dew with caffeine now, but I think you can still find the non-caffeinated stuff. I rarely buy pop, so i guess I am out of the know!

I also do enjoy a good Grape or Orange Crush. Ooh, or Lime Crush!

I use to drink diet pepsi, but we cut out all artificial sweeteners a while ago, so of course that eliminated that. I can't stand regular soda - WAY too sweet for my liking, and we have since cut out all HFC products as well anyway. We actually bought a soda stream not long ago though because DH and I like fizz. Smile We carbonate our water with that and don't add a thing to it - YUM! It's pretty much all I drink anymore, other then some coffee and tea.

I don't drink soda in general, but I do go through phases once in a while where I want gingerale. It's the only one I'll drink.

Also Laurie - we also don't consume HFCS but luckily in Canada you can find soda that is made with good ol' fashion sugar. When I go to the states, I won't even drink gingerale since there's not a single brand that doesn't use hfcs.

We don't really buy any because of the HFCS that Laurie mentioned. Also, I gave up artificial sweeteners when I got pregnant with DS1, so that was 7 years ago!
Occasionally we do buy a root beer made locally with sugar and honey that is really good. DH still consumes all of the above, but buys it at work.
