What is one of your DH/SO's most annoying habits and what would he say is one of yours?

    so many to choose, lol!

Habit that drives me bonkers is his need to fill empty spaces. I could spend all day cleaning, clearing counters, etc and he will walk in and strategically empty his pockets across the now empty space. Makes me want to scream!!!

For me, he'd probably saying not flushing the toilet after peeing. We have an open master that has no door to the shower/bathroom area. If I go at night, I'm always afraid the flushing will wake him, so I don't. Grosses him out in the morning.

I get really annoyed with his habit to not pick up anything after himself. He'll leave a food wrapper on the kitchen counter when 2 steps over is the garbage. The vehicle he drives is a complete mess b/c he can not grasp the concept of bringing in and putting away whatever you put in there during a single trip out. I could go on...but you get the idea.

As for what he would say about me...IDK, I'm an absolute joy to be around so not sure he would have anything to say!
    I'll have to ask him.

He has too much energy so he will do things like... In the car, he will tap his fingers on the lid of a fountain drink cup and make ungodly squeaking noises with it. He never even knows he's doing it and it makes me want to scream!

He would say I never put my dirty dishes in the sink. It makes him nuts.

I could think of several that are similar to the ones listed above but I'll go with how he can look right at me when I'm talking to him, even respond sometimes, then have no recollection of the conversation 10 minutes later because he wasn't really listening. I've gotten to where I can *usually* tell when he's doing it but it still makes me insane!

He'd say my worst habit is putting things down and forgetting where I put them. I'll admit that I have huge issues with this & even when I try to purposefully put things somewhere, when it comes time to find them, I can't remember for the life of me where that "good spot" for it was.

The things that annoy me most are: he leaves his wet towel on the floor in front of the closet after his shower each morning. We go through so many towels because they just sit and get mildewy on the floor. Big pile of smelly towels that were only used once. HANG IT UP! LOL. Also, another random thing that annoys me is how he drinks. Any drink. Water, pop, whatever. He CHEWS his drinks. I can hear his teeth chomping as he drinks them. WHY ARE YOU CHEWING??? It's liquid?!

I do innumerable things that probably annoy him too. Like fold all the laundry but leave it in the basket and don't put it away. He never has clean socks in his drawer. Or forgetting to pack up leftovers from supper and letting them get wasted. OH, he hates when I forget to turn the oven off after baking something. He always sighs and says "Are you still using the OVEN?????"

DH doesn't like wearing socks, and leaves them EVERYWHERE. He also puts dishes into the sink but doesn't soak them, just fills up the sink and makes it harder to clean.

I am terrible with keys, and charging my cell phone. And even when it is charged I never answer it. And it doesn't seem to get service. I swear I'm not really supposed to have one. He also can't stand that I don't cut away the top of the tomato (where the stem attaches) when I make a salad.

I just asked DH and he said something along the lines of...probably how I bug him about his cleaning habits. haha, guess I haven't been holding in my feelings. You know it's not healthy to hold it in!

I can't really pick just the ONE...haha. Like some of you mentioned: I will clean off a space and he's got to put his junk there. Or I'll FINALLY get all the clothes off the floor, for him to come home and strip right there. But I think the biggest thing is any time there is a mess, he will walk by it repeatedly. Like, if the dogs get in the trash or whatnot. He'll just leave the trash on the floor. Thanks man!

Me? I forget things. Like everything. I got into a habit a few years ago that when I thought of something to do, I'd do it. But that was no fun, so..I just went back to being forgetful...haha. Oh, and ...like Sandra, I'll do laundry all day long. But you may have to go find it because I NEVER put it away.
