In all seriousness, we don't really do much routine maintenance. We mainly fix things as they break. Our main car is a 2000 and our truck is a 1992. Old old old. I normally take the car in for stuff because I know the people at the VW repair shop more than him. So I guess we sort of do our own vehicles, although we both drive the car more than the truck. He did replace the car battery last week though.
Yep, that's us too. We have a 2001 van and a 95 camry. We just make sure to rotate the tires every now and then and get the oil changed every 4000 miles or so. Otherwise, we fix things if they "need" it. So, right now the van has a massive crack in the wind shield and the wiper fluid doesn't spray... not necessary to the function of the vehicle, so therefore not getting fixed! Oh, and DH and I are pretty equal as far as noticing when oil changes and such needs to be done.

Yeah, if we had car payments we just wouldn't eat... no big deal right.

Just FYI, in April I noticed my wiper fluid didnt spray and it turned out the rubber hose had dry rot. It cost $3 and took 5 minutes to replace.

Oh nice!! I should look into that. It's only been 2 years since I've been able to spray my windshield!!

I need DH too, but he does it sometimes. I take care of oil changes, but overall not too much maintainence I'd hate to admit.
